A crime thriller that begins 15 years after the events of the feature film left, about an idealistic young police officer (Justin Cornwell) who is appointed to an elite squad of the LAPD where he is partnered with a seasoned, morally ambiguous detective (Bill Paxton).
Actually that didn't look that bad... except that piss yellow filter.

You know something? That actually looked pretty damned good to me. This could be Justin's breakout role and I'm absolutely *loving* seeing Bill Paxton grow like this. Colour me piss coloured... no, wait, I meant interested. Colour me interested
Just watched it out of curiosity, oh dear. It's not on the MacGyver-like level of abysmal, but it's not far off either.
The show starts with this, one can tell from the get-go its general direction:
The writing is so embarrassing that it makes genuine parodies blanch (poor Bill Paxton what is he doing here), the acting from the black lead and secondary stereotyped characters is all over the place, sudden america awww yeahh fake action scenes with explosions and tenso music, occasional yoyo rap, constant piss Human Revolution palette (why.png), the cheesy washed up scenes with bloom to convey more "emotions" (not a coincidence that it was directed by the CSI guy), slowmo's, the soap opera moments with vapid melodies, I'll just quote the woman, "this is an epic fail" xD.
Another worthless, lousy, derp 'n cheap reboo that no one asked for to add to the list.
they flipped training day, good cop is a black virgin and the bad cop is white so many cliches in that trailer, reminds me of South Park when they made fun of cop shows.
Production on the midseason drama, a reboot of Antoine Fuqua’s acclaimed movie, wrapped in December, so all 13 episodes from the show’s first-season order have already been filmed. That gives fans nine new episodes with the Twister actor.
Training Day has been a very modest ratings performer and was not expected to be in serious contention for a renewal — in opened with 4.7 million viewers and a 0.9 among adults 18-49 in Live+same day ratings and by Episode 4 it slipped to 3.7 million and a 0.7 by Episode 4, with small DVR bumps.
Paxton’s death makes the already unlikely renewal virtually impossible.
