I think I need to get other wheels for that chair. a chair mat. You can get them in seethrough optic. Doesn't even matter, everything looks better than a scratched floor.

So I have been looking for a new chair for, I dunno, ever. And every one I've bought have just ended up being uncomfortable, wobbly and my ass is incapable of dealing with sitting on such a padless thing. So today I finally gave up and sourced a car seat from a Mazda Venture and made a temporary stand, bolted it on and now I am sitting in chair heaven. I'll post some pics if anyone cares, but I don't think I've ever been so comfortable. Of course, the lack of wheels means getting off and on isn't quite as dignified, but I think the extra comfort (adjustable lumbar, recline and back/forward positions) is more than worth it! Wouldn't mind seeing how it turned out. I've gamed in car seats and lounge chairs and it is indeed great for longer sessions. Bit surprised that most people stick to just office chairs. Mind you I'm using one atm, but that is only because our current set up doesn't work out with most other options and the ones that work out would be a bit costly for our current economics. Pretty sure with time I'll toss out the office chairs and go with something else again.
