There has been no orders shipped this week so far for the EU. A while back the EU pulled 20 minutes ahead from the US, so they tweaked the distribution and diverted stock to the US and no shipments went out for 2 weeks in the EU.
Now the US are 5 fucking hours ahead of the EU 5:45 approx and the EU around 45 minutes into pre orders.
No word, no explanation, nothing from Oculus. Shit heads
Twistgibber (Cust Support user on reddit) said that EU rifts are on the air now, they will be arriving soon to europe to supply orders.
I gotta admit i'm not using my oculus at all really. I played for about 10 hours when i first got it, haven't used it since. The sense of immersion is amazing and it feels new and sensational. I just haven't found the game / app that really sells the whole thing for me.
Edit:
WDTxTiHKAL on oculus home btw

Edge of Nowhere is absolutely brilliant, I played about 5 levels last night and was totally loving every minute of it. First game that feels really polished, and I see much potential for this type of exploration mystery games. Well worth the $40
I bring my Rift and my Asus ROG laptop at work for the past 2 days so I could let my boss and team mates try the thing.
I showed them several "Free demo" (Dreamdeck, Invasion, Henry, ...) and took them on a recorded DCS World : Mirage 2000-C flight (but with real time POV), they all had a real blast !
Almost half of them asked me about some hand controller, when are those Touch controller coming FFS !?
Edit : Oh and all of them who tried the Gear VR said it is just garbage compared to the Rift, I fucking knew it ^^
@bxrdj Thanks for the headup, EoN looks nice indeed.

Got my Rift on Friday, sadly i have 2 months without internet due to my ISP being a complete fucking worthless POS...
Got some games and tried it out..
So far, Henry, Luckys Tale, Dreamdeck, Dreadhalls (holy shit, no, nonononoono), Assetto Corsa, FSX Flyinside, Project Cars and Minecraft.
The resolution is my only critique, we need 4k fast, ill fucking throw away my monitor when it comes. But I loved it, the experience outweights everything else, cockpit sims are fucking incredible and how the 3d looks and feels is amazing.
Only thing is the amount of money ill spend buying games im so damn happy, im like a child again

Gear VR is pretty much exactly the same as Rift if you watch movies/360 content, actually Gear VR paired with S7 has better resolution .
Asynchronous Timewarp do wonders in DCS if you go below 90fps, even at 45fps you can have a "good" game experience. (your head rotation stay smooth so you don't get stutter illness)
I just learned HTC Vive doesn't have Async Timewarp so I guess framerate may be a problem here.

It doesn't, the vive honestly, especially with highend experiences like project cars, E: D, and upcoming titles from E3 and whatever, you need a highend system with a GTX 1080, even with the rift i still don't see how a 970 will be able to keep things enjoyable and playable in without much better hardware to drive it.
Unless you will be satisfied with playing lower end games, i wouldn't get a HMD unless you really plan to invest into a topend system imo.
I can assure you my calm and slow DCS : M2000C flight tour was pretty enjoyable @45fps on my laptop (Asus ROG with 970M) with making some compromises on graphics settings of course.
Aerobatics flights would certainly be another story indeed
But still, before this ATW feature, anything below 90fps would have be a no go.

Same here interactive.
Other than the convenience of headphones made in, I cant see a reason to keep the rift over the vive.
the lens are a HAIR better IMO on the rift, but not anything worth knocking the vive for.
I've already put in my 1080, took out my 970 and boxed it and the rift up to setup for my son when he has time this week.
So after a month my rift is already a 'hand me down' to him.
Tech wise they are on par with each other to me, Just the controllers and room space makes the vive squeak ahead.
I dont see the exclusive as THAT bad. To me its no different than the console wars of exclusives thats been done for a decade.
But then again I dont do consoles so perhaps that whole thing doesn't carry the same weight with me that it does for others. I'm sure console users are as pissed at exclusives.
