sure, took me just some time to upload Wink

game also capped @30fps. gameplay runs fine, dunno why it has a massive slowdown at the end of the first intro

had to use bandicam to capture that, hence the quality is again not topnotch. but every other tool failed completely or captured it mirrored and flipped upside down (like a few other games, dunno why it works with fraps for example good for some games and for some others not)

Are the HD remakes designed for normal controllers or do you emulate the nun chuck?

@NFOAC: whats hard about it? almost every game by now supports the pro controller (which is basicly a 360 controller clone and is emulated in cemu since 1.5.0 too)

@TiHKAL: as in the answer above -> most of the games (older ones when patched) support the pro controller now. previously only the wii u pad was emulated (and lacked ofc a few features, like blowing in the controller etc). Nun chucks arent supported at all atm, only emulation of the wii u pad, the pro controller and the wii u classic controller

Awesome!

I quit playing Z:TP at the water temple when it was released. The combination of the controllers being annoying and the water temple was enough to turn me off. Def excited to try it again with a normal controller.

Somewhat to do with emulation...

So I'm jumping to Win 10 tomorrow and I've been using an older build of Daemon Tools... what's the alternative these days? Yes I know, Win 10 does ISO reason why I didn't post in that thread... I'll be using other containers due to emulation of various systems. Razz

I know about WinCDemu and virtual clonedrive but haven't checked up on the supported formats yet. It will only be used for mounting btw. Anywho though I just ask about your experiences while I'm busy backing up and downloading my programs/drivers. Smile

virtual clone drive does not support a few fancier image formats (like the alcohol format?), but if you only use iso for example it works fine.

What does this have to do with emulation? Don't emulators of cd based machines all support viable image formats directly?

Yeah most do. Just a few exceptions here and there. So I was just wondering what everyone is using these days.

using only the windows imageloader, dont have much other fancy stuff. think virtual clonedrive doesnt support cues too, only pure bin images. in that case you need something else

and for the emulators (i.e. psx where that matter) just use the internal image reader, so no need to hassle with other tools

tried splatoon, its "kinda" playable when using mouse and keyboard cause with rmb you can activate the sensor of the emulated pad to look up and down. but you cant map lmb to the button you need to shoot and putting right stick left and right on keyboard buttons to look left and right isnt a good way. but the only way it works atm

does anyone know the trick to get a ps2 save from the emulator to the console? i tried to follow a guys directions on an old post at gamefaqs but he left out some details. we have a gameshark with a memory manager that is supposed to allow you to take a save from a usb stick and copy it to the ps2 memory card, but it cant see the usb drive. im pretty sure i did everything correctly with the save itself (extract the save from the mem card file created by the emulator, use a tool to convert it to .md format, then rename it to .ps2).

i think my problems are related to the usb stick im trying to use. i wasnt sure what to format it to, so i picked fat32. its 8 gigs too, which might be too big for such old hardware/file systems. i also had the save on the card in a few different formats hoping that if one didnt work, another would. im not sure if that is stopping the ps2/gameshark from seeing it or not. i have no idea. the ps2 is at my buddies place, so i cant keep tinkering with it. have to wait until i go back for a visit to try again.

There seems to be some progress with Red Dead Redemption(Undead Nightmare in that case but running same engine as the original)

NOT PLAYBLE,just in game, despite it's still horrible mass in terms of graphics, there seems to be ongoing improvements.

So after watching some gameplay of the new Zelda I got instant need of playing some old ones (ones above n64, so gamecube and wii/nds/other) - what are my best options? windwaker for wii is perfectly emulable/playable? I played some of the GC version back in the days and it was ok-ish framerate wise.

im on i2700, 8 gigs of ram and r9 290.

Should run perfectly if you want the textures/shaders and other stuff from the HD edition there is a project to integrate them in the GC version here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/zelda-windwaker-hd-dolphin-edition-mod.427010/ (they actually dumped the textures from WIIU version that's why the Dolphin team doesn't want them on their board ) there are some other good texture packs as well but unfinished as far as i know.
Twilight Princess has similar packs it also runs perfectly these days.
You can try the actual HD versions in Cemu as well they run pretty well now but still have some minor bugs and are not finishable as far as i know.
