Yeah, but when are they going to fix it?
Meh I'll probably repeat what I did anyway, just with lots of safe (within toussaint) fast travel

I'd still like to know what the bug actually do, what's the effect of it. The forum post explains not to go outside Toussaint, but doesn't say what happens if you do.
I'd like to know if I'm affected or not, because I'm almost certain I went outside Toussaint while renovations were going on. I haven't seen anything broken, but I'd like to see if it happened and I simply haven't come across it yet.

Oh.
The renovations to the house and manor (with me were the ones that required you to wait two days) are permanently stuck, ie that quest phase won't complete.

Alright, strange then. I completed the quest, but I'm 80% certain I left to visit the runewright. Maybe I got lucky, or it only happens to one set of upgrades, or I just remembered wrong.
Thanks tho, useful to know.

And another one for wisdom
Spoiler: |
The quest you want to complete for this part is called “Father Knows Worst”. You can grab it from the notice board in Beauclair city or from The Cockatrice Inn. At the very end of this quest you have to choose the second option: “No one dies. Not today.” |
It's from here

Regarding Orianna:
Spoiler: | I loved the fact that she's the Bruxae from the Launch trailer, it was kind of a spoiler tho, when i saw her face for the first time i knew it was her. When she opened her mouth it sealed the deal
Love the fact that when you pursue a certain questline you learn about her (and she sings that song from the launch trailer too!) and Geralt ends up saying "someday im gonna be back for you" |

Meh, the game has serious memory leak issues. I installed 24 GB RAM in my system. After about 3 hours of playing - involving quite some quick travel - the game manages to fill up the 24 GB and begins stuttering. I also have 8 GB VRAM, so i doubt memory isn't enough.

That's strange. Been playing this for last ~4-5 hours, and the memory usage has not crossed 6 GB with game using ~2.7-3 GB RAM.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Noticed that the new patch (or maybe just in toussaint?) added the little detail of having all cats hissing at geralt now, just like in the books

It's Win7 64 bit. I don't have this issue with other games; first i thought it's related to playing in borderless window, but switching to fullscreen was only a small improvement.
