Both sides are wrong anyway.

Vast majority of leave-voters are chauvinistic idiots that don't understand how much money is saved with the free trade (and considering the biggest of the UK's 30% physical export goods is automotive..bye bye car manufacturers if those treaties are gone.) and think that the UK can be self sufficient (even though the UK imports most of its foodstuffs and has been importing energy for over a decade...that oil/gas is not enough). The vast majority of remain-voters either work in the UK's 70% services export (and thus prefer the lack of red tape within the EU) or have no clue of how much has been wasted through the contributions already.

Truth is somewhere in the middle. The UK needs the trade treaties; but they have little leverage if not in the EU (the EU doesn't need the UK's physical goods; biggest is cars and they'll just close their UK plants - financial services are not really affected by most of the trade treaties). At the same time, the country has been contributing so much to the EU budget that it risks following Italy and Spain.

The UK needs an even better deal on that front, but at the same time the EU needs to send less money to the UK in certain sectors. The agricultural sector in the UK is a massive money drain. Then again, that goes for many countries, the EU needs to re-evaluate who gets money for what purposes.

And the immigration situation is the funniest argument. Many leave-voters want to close the borders entirely. I wish them good luck trying to find the highly trained workforce that now moves to the UK from NL, France, Germany and Italy (yes, Italy.). The UK has great universities, but not for IT for example. And why would someone want to move to the UK if it's that annoying to get in? London's been booming in recent years in that area.

There are reasons to stay, and there are reasons to leave.

Unfortunately those politicians on both sides seem to spout shite
