Same guy said 12 AM PDT release time and yet its not out. Still says 9h so he might be trolling. Anyways game seems to be mediocore so denuvo wont raise their sales for sure Laughing

Yep just checked the .exe. Its denuvo. Its even the first game with denuvo and exe below 90-100 mb Laughing

40 - 50'ish here but I tweaked the shit out of the ini file(s) and am using ReShade for deband and SMAA on top, 2560x1440 and UE3 pushed a bit above what the usual max settings are.
(Well "tweaked the shit out of" might be a bit extreme, it's mainly 4096x4096 shadows, shortened streaming periods with a larger cache and a altered draw distance with some other minor tweaks that probably don't really do anything as they've been there since UE3 was first released back with Vegas and Roboblitz and are likely long deprecated now. Razz )

With v-sync turned on, it fluctuated between 20 and 30 FPS for me Laughing With v-sync turned off, it stays in 60-62 range (which seems to be the max, haven't seen it above 62 FPS anywhere), with some dips when loading the level.

Just finished the first case, it was a lot more action oriented than the previous games. The villain didn't seem to be too fleshed out either. A very weak case IMO, but as always the clues system is really well done. Smile

I think it might be one of those titles using double-buffered VSync (I think that's what it's called.) so if it can't do 60 constant (If you have a 60hz display.) it drops to half and fluctuates around that.

Could also be a problem with the frame smoothing UE3 uses by default but I don't think it would halve the framerate like that.

EDIT: As for the story I guess it's a problem of using a original story instead of relying on the existing books which I assume many of the earlier installments made use of, I've only really played Testament, Crime and Punishment and now this though and a very brief bit of one guest starring Ry'leh. Razz
