- 2 dev teams, 2 AAA games in development
- 1 has been in development for a while and it has a "new partner" (not Microsoft)
- The other one is early in development, it's just a concept for now and it doesn't look it has a publisher yet. So probably there's no Quantum Break 2 in development (for now).
- Neither is Alan Wake. They are looking to tell "Alan Wake stories" in "other mediums" (inb4 anime)
- Don't expect any of the 2 to be announced any time soon.

I hacked Remedy servers and got this press release:
Quote:

Sony Entertainment Studios and Remedy Entertainment are proud to announce a new partnership. 2 yet announced games from the award-winning developers of Max Payne and Max Payne 2 are being worked on in Espoo, Finland. Both of those titles will be available exclusively for the PlayStation®4 Computer Entertainment System.
First things first: we’ll continue supporting Quantum Break, which became the “biggest-selling new Microsoft Studios published IP this generation”. It’s something we’re extremely proud of, so thank you to all of our fans for making the game a success and our long-time partner Microsoft for helping us create something unique.
nice dick sucking remedy, respect. How is that game even a success? 90% of us has already forgotten it.
well anyways, if they want to turn back to their roots (meaning pc) i can give them a chance. But if they're going make an experimental console game then no.
Meh, i have no high hopes for the games either after Quantum Brake.
Remedy seems like a two-hit wonder with Max Payne 1+2 and Alan Wake from way back then.
I'm sad to say, but Remedy are past their prime. Years ago I was excited about their products, but after moving on from Max Payne, delaying Alan Wake and the Quantum Break fiasco they lost me as a fan. It's sad, because they were once one of my favourite developers.
Funnily enough, their downfall began when they hopped into bed with Microsoft. Alan Wake went from being an open world, fully living and reactive, detective+supernatural sim for PCs into a supernatural shooter for Xbox 360. It was still a damned good game, but it wasn't what they originally pitched or what everyone wanted. Then Quantum Break..
Man oh man, can you imagine Deadly Premonition with an actual AAA budget? A great engine and cast? DP is already a damned good game, it's just so hilariously broken and low budget
No, thank you. Quantum Break has shown where they are going and the only surprise for me would be if they made a proper game alongside good optimization.

I'm thinking it'll be something smaller than that (just a hunch based on the music at the end of the video).
