Romania played great, shame for them  France proved once again they are not a team, Payet did it all for them, rest pretty much sucked.

Payet, what a season he's having 
Quite a disappointing display from France though, not enough movement without the ball and limited pressing (well except for the usual Kantè  ) plus a lot of mindless passing (also thanks to Romania that didn't make things easy at all, very well played).
Pogba sucked balls, which is good so that at least big teams stay away from him

And I think france committed a foul for the first goal. The attackers elbows weren't even close to his body.

Apart from Payet France was lazy as fuck. Pogba had a solid start but then he was lost. Also it was so annoying to see that at some point their every attack went with a long ball towards Giroud.
They could've easly win this game with a proper attitude but Romania did put some solid pressure on them. Even I was betting France to score at least 3 goals Romania deserved that first penalty too which was never given.

yeah, I think that was a foul as well. you can see that the goalie couldn't grab the ball because giroud pushed his right arm away from the ball. intentional or not, should have been a foul.

Well it was a good match for the opening of the euro 2016. Sad for Romania but if they have the same energy for the second match they might advance to the second round
Payet was absolutely incredible and I'm not sure if giroud is allowed to push away the keepers arms like that:/

even if he went to box the ball, he would have missed, you can see his right arm pushed away from the ball right before he makes contact.
But the romanian penalty was also quite lightly given.

nnnaaa dont think so, if he boxes the ball he moves his arm(s) differently and most likely will hit the ball. but yes sure difficult
game at all was crap, next highlight coming up in less than 2 hrs -> albania vs swiss

im no fan of england but i still wonder where does the hate come from?
i mean as long as they play good they are an enrichment to every tournament.
i can only speak for myself but i rather have a english team under the last teams instead of island/romania/russia/switzerland/wales or any other small team which will luck their way through the tournament.
