Not impressed with GoG when it comes to updates, i don't think the auto-update has ever worked for me (GoG Galaxy) it tries, but always fails and restarts from scratch (why does it need to restart if it already downloaded GB's of data - totally moronic).

Downloading from their page usually works, but now it just gives a "not found" error. This is probably the last game i will buy from GoG, Steam is just miles ahead in terms of professionality.

Anyways. Really looking forward to finally play this game..

Debug console enabler broke again but ~ still works to toggle the console itsel since 1.20 though no free-camera functionality.

Also removes comments from script files and other changes so all script mods will need to be updated again.

25 hours in and it's fantastic. Probably the most beautiful game i ever played. One major problem is that reloading after dying is about 50 seconds on PS4! That's crazy. And i love to fight enemys stronger then me so sometime i have to reload alot and thats suck to wait so much. Hows the reloading time on PC?
I'm level 10 and fuck theres soooo much to do in this game.
Is there a level cap?

Takes about 5 seconds on PC. First time loading is about 10-15 seconds.
No level cap.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Don't know about a level cap. But you never will reach it in first playthrough anyways. Because if you outlevel a quest by too many levels, you barely get any exp anymore.

Reloading on PC and on SSD was 3-5 secs for me.

Thank you guys!
I must say it looks fantastic on PS4 and runs good as well with no loading ingame but the reloading save is just not acceptable and it's a shame cuz its really hurts the experience.

For people that don't use Galaxy just regular GoG downloads: You only need to download the new patch files if you already had everything on 1.21. Just download the 1.10-1.22 patch and it patches all the DLCs and language packs too. Should be about 3gb. That's according to CDPR in the forums.

First thing i did on PS4 was to throw away the HDD and replace it with a SSD. Playing this on PC though.

Huh?! Why does my PC (sig) take way more than that? I installed it on the SSD and if I die and need to re-load it takes ages; whereas if I load the game in the beginning it doesn't take that long. That's strange.

It takes longer than 3-5 seconds, depending on the situation. I'm playing right now and I saved right before doing a quest. While doing that quest it failed and created an autosave while still fighting some Ghuls. That autosave took "way" longer to load than my manual save. In general just don't die and there's no need to look at a loading screen Smile

Blah, no RedKit. This game could have lasted forever with it.

Console overlords must have said no.

likely some sort of bug. your loading times on that rig should be super short.

..and it would have been a really, really nice gift to the fans, since this is the last Witcher game.

Have they said anything about more expansions For W3 though?
