There was a pic going around showing them as one of the top companies on the nikkei index or whatever last year, business is booming for them regardless.

The way I see it, PS4 exclusive at first, maybe PC port later, and XB1 never.

Also since we know that Kojima is currently looking for an engine and he is between two candidates, on one of which this concept trailer was made.
People have suggested the current engine is a Sony studio engine ( https://forum.beyond3d.com/posts/1923310/ https://forum.beyond3d.com/posts/1923464/ ) which could mean a definitive no to a PC version if the code is PS4 tailored, or if Sony ends up providing substantive technical assistance and end up sort of like co-developers, or if there are license issues with creating a PC version.

That game will not come out before 2020 or later.
That trailer was ALL they had. they don't even have any good idea.
I do hope they go this rouute because that is my fav trailer this year

It's a fine example of gaming snobism - the other being that guy SWERY that made Deadly Premonition. Obscure stuff with ham-fisted intertextual referencese (Ahab codename, whale eating a chopper), little sense in anything, all dripping wet with emotions and drama.

Hmm I don't know if it's a good or a bad thing. If kojima's going for the complexity of quantum physics in an edgy way (as seen in trailer) he can fuck up really bad. Needless to say, presentation is way important in this subject.
We can get Inception: The Game if they don't pay enough attention to the storytelling and all that stuff.

Kojima Productions 'Very Close' to Full Production on Death Stranding
According to Kojima, he's closing in on a decision.

a lot of speculation and back and forth.. just realise, he now has his own studio, and is making the game his way... hes no longer working for someone.
this game wll never be completed while we're alive, so just best to forget about it now.
