How about Rise of Nations? Damn good and pretty hard game. It has multiplayer too.

It was fantastic. Loved the music and skirmish. Anything similar to this?
Rise of Legends, Total Annihilation, Supreme Commander 2, Warhammer and Company of heroes are best fun I had with rts games... and battle for the middle earth. I usually like to play as defender. Set to skirmish, build a wall, turrets, set as many cpu enemies as I can and survive while building an army. yeah.... I play rts games wrong

i just dont get valve with their summer sale graphics...
there was an early one with, hands down, the UGLIEST waves i have ever seen.. ANYWHERE...
then we had an animation where bits just disappeared for a few frames
then we had a day or two ago a little penis aiming for anal sex
and now we have two fire people tossing a child like its a ball... its sick. Its not acceptable.

Still haven't gotten around to checking the sales other than a quick glance on my wishlist the first day. Don't have that much to spend and I'm just not feeling it this time around.
I usually go with the -60% off rule... but it seems this time around the majority has been -50% or less.
Also not helping that I'm pretty busy with sorting out my rom collection and having a few games on my list to finish.
