to them, I doubt its worth the investment to ever give the game an high resolution makeover, unfortunately.

so... like... 0.782% chance?

I ask, because i planned to start the playthrough of this soon.
If a patch could be expected, i would postpone the playthrough.

How high are the chances, that the base game will receive a high-resolution update too?

I guess not so high, as the backgrounds are probably fixed at 720p?

Just started playing this.
It's not bad. The atmosphere is good.

It's just sad, that the graphics are just at native 720p.
Using Reshade makes at least the font sharper though.

And finished after 7-8h.

It was a pretty nice little adventure game. Reading the logs was nice to get more background infos.
Had to use a walkthrough several times for a few stuckings though.

6.9/10

Can't say i was very impressed but the atmosphere had me sucked in.

1: That villain was pathetic. "Mohahah i am evul and i will say evul things while the ship is burning down and apparently all enemies ignore me muahaha"
2: too much meaningless text scattered around. I read it all, but most was just a load of nonsense to extend the gameplay
3: Where are the murderous monsters? people apparently died left and right but there was no danger anywhere, except some bugs and a robot.
 Spoiler:

And a footnote point: They were real chickenshit when it came to women. There are a few, but mostly dead women weren't present and only their PDA could be found. If you hover through corpses 90% or more of them are male. It doesn't make sense of course due to certain events in the story, but it is what it is.

It's clear the creators are quite the amateurs at making a contextually solid game story, but for all its faults, it was worthy of a playthrough.

4/10

Added some spoilers^

It is, and apparently it's MUCH better. Unfortunately I watched Mandalore Gamings video on it which contains full spoilers, so I am waiting a few years until I will get to it, hoping to have forgotten about most stuff until then.

Bone totem is much worse. Too much insipid dialogue by a writer who cant write a story for shit or write believable character and interactions. I wanted to punch these characters so much and rooted for their deaths. What a incredibly annoying bunch

Being a youtuber does not give you elevated credibility. Doesn't matter anyway. Some will like it, some will dislike it. Just how it is.

Finished it now. Gamplay wise it had interesting mechanics. Trio system was a bit of a headache with sometimes too many combinations and you just have to try and try until something works. Dialogue was insipid. Written by a moron no doubt. They kept repeating the same nonsense through the whole game and room after room you had to wait for 5 minutes for the chatter to stop. Aggrivating when they didn't even say aaaanything interesting or relevant.
