It depends on the walls you are going for, the flooring to the right would work as well with your dark furniture and a light wall. Walls and your furniture have a lot more effect on the brightness of your room than a floor unless the room has very limited to no natural light coming in.

If you're really struggling with colour choices and such I could help you out. Used to advice on that in my last job, we had training from Herbol (paint brand of Akzo Nobel). Well if you got questions on anything just post them here... I bet I'm not the only one with some construction and design experience. Smile

thanks!

You are both right. I picked that floor because its rather light and looks like it will not look dirty like dark floor would all the time.

Walls will be like in renders in first post. Vanille or light vanille. All furniture rather grey or dark brown or near black like what I posted.

There wont be too much natural light so I thought about wall sliding door wardrobes colour.... And its troube some. I think that dark wardrobe would look like black hole in the wall in hallway? So i picked fucking helsinki oak looking similar to floor(google it I am on the phone)... Not sure id that fits.

I still have some time to pick doors and door frames.... And i probably need to pick another color for those wardrobes... Darker maybe.
Fuck all this Laughing

If you don't get much natural lights in your rooms, i would throw the idea of using RGB-LED-Stripes in the room. Very Happy

Depending on how and where you install them, they give a nice passive light. Most stripes also come with a remote.
I still have one lying around myself. Planned to add them behind my TV. But so far i was not in the mood of installing it. grinhurt

Look on something like Amazon/Mediamarkt/Saturn for fitting objects and check out user reviews for a first indication of the quality.

Then if possible, google for expert reviews of your chosen products.

What bobby said, along with some advice from a shop. You can always put some feelers out at the electronic stores, preferably not the bulk stores like Saturn/Mediamarkt.

That way you get some idea and can research it online, don't decide anything on the first trip. You can probably even negotiate a better price once you did some research on your own. Smile

Buying things like this is the same as TV's... it's usually too much time in between that I have to research it all over again.

As to Energy labels... it's not that simple. Some A+ will cost less a year than an A++ or A+++
Most are quite close when it comes to costs unless you spent some more cash on them. Best is to use a calculator to see their cost saving effectiveness (I bet there are plenty of those online just for that).

Maybe these days that is less so... but I can imagine that going for the label alone won't be telling the whole story. Smile

Most models will have a built-in version so I don't think you'll have to worry too much about availability in that regard.

Induction plate - Get cooktop instead?

Fridge with bottom freezer will cost more than $500 unless you go with low quality one.

Dishwasher - SR65T081GB is very good. Little expensive, but worth it.

Washing machine - 5.5kg or smaller for 2 people. Go with front loader.

You won't be buying these every year or 2, unless you get cheap stuff. Good products lasts for 5-10+ years with minimal service. So pick wisely.

I take induction plate portable one with single burner place? Like http://i.imgur.com/o7wb6cT.jpg

That won't be enough for proper cooking. You will need at least 2+ burners spots down the line.

The inductions ones are expensive when compared to others. 2-3x times. Also it requires ferromagnetic cookware. If you have something else, you need to replace those as well. It requires larger initial outlay but they are very efficient.
The glass electric ones are cheaper, looks sort of same. The con is, they take some time to heat up.
(the newer ones comes with heat adjustments, more features and stuff)
The gas ones provide instant heat, cheap and can char grill. However, it requires gas supply.

If you are short on budget, you should give glass cooktops a try. http://i.imgur.com/IJnu08h.jpg

They even looks quite nice.

Will cost you around $300-400.

Isn't the one you are showing induction? xD (Edit: Nope, me bad... seems it actually is an electric one)

I could see where the confusion comes from: most of us don't use the word cooktop but use plate(s) instead. Smile

Oh. Good to know. Very Happy Whenever I hear plate, quickly the portable ones come to mind.

I am talking about something like this
http://www.euro.com.pl/plyty-do-zabudowy/bosch-pia611f18e.bhtml

This will be countertop mounted above stove as separate unit. With 4 heaters.
Now there are a lot of models. Some are ceramic and some induction. Not sure what is going on there

You got that image right though... If I can find one with physical knobs, it should be better than touch. But that's not main concern.
Maybe I should also add - there is no gas installation in the building. Stove and plate are electric

There are hardly any electric or induction plates with knobs these days. My brother has one similar to the Bosch you've posted, maybe even the same. It's good to have this kind of controls - you choose the field than the power instead of having only + and - and going through everything if you want to reduce it significantly.
As mentioned before - no all cookware is induction-compatible.

You'll have an interesting perspective on cooking.

Where's the fridge? Common "order" is to take something out of the fridge, rinse / do whatever in the sink and move on to the oven. Otherwise you tend to keep walking around the kitchen much.

I bought this Samsung HB6247SX
(lol only thing I got so far because its easier to build kitchen furniture with having this already)

I have a question.
In the package there are 2 coal filters. Do I put the onto the engine or leave them in the box?
It will be exhausting air to the chimney..

I am still undecided on some stuff

Workers/painters are already scheduled but I am still thinking what should I go with.
There are few options, mainly considering contrast design. But I still want to keep relative warmth to the place. Most stuff will be bought in Castorama and Ikea.

Here is laminate flooring we are mostly decided on for now:
http://imgur.com/a/Gye5U

and here are ideas of design I made online. Sorry for dumping all images together. It's just a brainstorm of ideas I like. Right now we think of going black/dark furniture(I like malm desk and small dresser), light flooring (above). Windows are brown installed by developer. What color for the doors? To match the flooring or windows or furniture?
One thing that is already ordered is the 2 wardrobes with sliding doors. Both in dark brown walnut color.

here are images. Most posted already.. and answered. I just need more nfo on it Laughing

Rule of thumb: You'll always want lighter colours on the floor the smaller your room is. Dark colours make the room seem even smaller. Natural oak is imo always a good option for flooring these days. Walnut has gone out of style (imo), but those Ikea wardrobes are ok for their price I guess.

Hmm so floor I picked should be ok then. (in link above)
As it is light color and I plan darker furniture (and those wardrobes).
But what top paint walls and pick doors colors ?

My personal choice is mostly white with a very very slight hint of "greige" (grey/beige) for the walls. Use darker furniture but not black then. You can set highligts through deco and furniture and it stays versatile, plus it makes the room larger. Sometimes just painting one wall a darker (not dark!) tone and using white furniture there (like the tv furniture) can be nice. repeat the darker tone from that wall on the furniture along the white walls in the same room. I like to use glass and chrome on tables if the floor is wood. Dont overload with details.

edit: Dont forget to go for second hand furniture. There are many hidden gems that can bring some style without too much cost.
