the first batman game where collecting riddler stuff was actually fun. I managed to get all, and never felt bored.

arkham asylum was the only game where this shit was actually fun.

I got 240% completion before I uninstalled the game.

That isn't an embellishment.
You can actually get up to that percentage.

Yep, I know. The main game's completion + DLC missions give you 120% completion and repeat that in NG+ and you're at 240%. I love the game, but not enough to do another playthrough with Riddler stuff for the second time. Razz

Well, that is the nice thing about it. The one thing that carries over into NG+ is the riddler stuff. So if you completed it in the regular campaign, you don't have to do it in NG+. You get immediate credit for whatever completion amount you achieved.

I'm shit at games, and I managed to get them all. I thought there was less in this one than some of the others.

Oh I didn't know that. Thanks! Smile

Honestly, I wish they would have reduced the amount of the collectibles to say about 100, which would be acceptable. Heck, they could have used variations of those Riddler challenges that we got during Catwoman's rescue mission. Those were quite good.

Steam broke ReShade compatibility in it's latest update but they should have fixed it again by now, still if it is crashing try to rename the Arkham Knight folders ReShade64.dll from dxgi.dll file to d3d11.dll instead and that should work. Smile

Batman: Arkham Knight gave us the hero we deserve
Madder than a hatter.
Quote:
Put simply, Batman is a dick. And that's sort of the point. Batman is a representation of badass machismo, and while he certainly has his moments of saving the day, he's not actually a hero. He's a severely troubled man with cool gadgets, a great physique, an obsessive mind, and a rogues gallery of terrible people for him to exercise his anger issues on. It's not that Batman's a hero; it's that Gotham is so messed up that this insane vigilante is considered a hero. That's pretty bleak.

As much as I love Arkham Knight, I hope the Arkham series has truly come to an end. One of Arkham Knight's greatest storytelling assets is the fact that it has its own canon and doesn't feel like a long-running franchise. Beloved characters can die in the Arkham series - just as Joker did at the end of the second game. That gave Arkham Knight a real sense of high stakes, as anyone could go at any time. Dragging the series out any further would be a mistake. Arkham Knight felt like a conclusion to an epic series and how many big franchises can you say that about?

Finally completed this, had it around for a while. It is my favorite from the trilogy. It looks and runs super smooth, except the 3 stages part in the Movies Studio, i had major drops there for unknown reason. Fantastic realization of the entire city, really enjoyed the details.

Story wise was a treat, didn't expect it to be so dramatic. Characters were well built - Joker cracked me up a couple of times, he's hilarious.

I know that's not the right forum or topic to do that. I'm still waiting for the crack.... no luck with that.

So I will buy it. Found the steam key on G2A for 8,80 euros (global version/eng version)

Any other cheaper place? Or any discount code on G2A?

Thanks

I'm just near the end. And I'm quite impressed. I was rather sceptic especially after Origins so I didn't played till now. Got like 12 hours session yesterday:) But I still slightly prefer Asylum because of focused narrative.

Yeah I prefer Asylum as well, City wasn't bad (Though initially a bit buggy and poor performing.) though it just seemed to be bigger just because although it was still fun to explore the more open environments.

Origins goes a bit too crazy with this having Batman go over that one particular bridge several times between the two main areas of it's city environments, fast travel once unlocked eliminates much of that annoyance and the game overall wasn't too bad though the buggy and poor performing crap went up a bit albeit the worst parts have been fixed although as with Knight the publisher ended further support pretty quickly once the DLC stuff was out.

Knight would have been a really good game too improving on City (And also acknowledging some events from Origins.) but the technical mess of the PC version and Warner kinda dropping it after it turns out it wouldn't be profitable to fix it further (They tried though, for a while.) well the current version is playable at least but not entirely problem free.

But yeah there's a "slight" over reliance on the Batcar/tank thing and the whole 100% completion (100%+ with NG+ and the DLC, hell 200%+ with all that.) with Riddler sticking his damn collectibles everywhere. Razz
(But you don't really have to do that if you don't want yet another suit to wear and the extended ending can be accessed quickly enough via Youtube should so be desired after beating the main game.)

The main story mode isn't that long on it's own if you mostly stick to that although even if you do you will occasionally be told to "wait" which usually means the game wants you to do a side mission or other task usually followed by a small tutorial. Razz
(Like the bomb disarm one, I'm fairly certain you're forced to do at least one of these but you can leave the rest of that side activity unfinished with no worry about "Knight" actually blowing them up.)

It would be pointless NOT to do character side missions, as they are subtle integrated into the main story.

I played some time before. I finished the main story with the Catwoman, Two Face, and Man-Bat complete. I'm just guessing if I'm hardcore enough to finish the rest. Yesterday I gave up after Deathstroke spawned in super tank with Cobras:))
