Kickboxer: Vengeance is an upcoming American martial arts film directed by John Stockwell, and starring Alain Moussi, Jean-Claude Van Damme (who played Kurt Sloane in the original Kickboxer), Dave Bautista, Gina Carano, Georges St-Pierre and Darren Shahlavi (in his final film role). It is the sixth installment of the Kickboxer series, and a remake of the original 1989 Kickboxer film, serving as a reboot of the franchise.
pretty sure many saw the first movie back in the day (i liked lyonheart more ); i know it wont rise to the level of the old one but still cant wait for it
It looks cheesy... but hey, it's supposed to be Kickboxer so that's a given
I think some of you simply forgot how bad these movies really were I mean, they were alright for their time (and when you were 10 years old ) but c'mon, it's not like there was something groundbreaking about them. Like ever.
Bautista looks good. And JCVD still has slick moves but overall it looks crap. The lead has like negative charisma and I hope Bautista kills him at the end (and it's revealed that he was in collusion with JCVD character).

an hour in so far and think I should have watched the original instead. I'll leave it at that. lol

finished it now.. it was pretty bad.
they even took some parts from the original and made them worse for no reason (bar fight)
nothing worth seeing here.
also maybe I didn't pay enough attention but it seems like some major stuff is left open for the sequel...and not in a good way.

Saw it last night and it was so cheap . The original is 10 times better .
There are no movies anymore like in the eighties . No Stallone , no Arnold , no Vandamme anymore
those actors where really unique for great action movies .
And they also want to make Bloodsport remake . Please don't !
4/10 for me . Was only fun to watch Vandamme again . But yeah he's not young anymore.
