Supposedly this is part of the big Microsoft Summer Game sale along with Gears of War and Rise of the Tomb Raider starting July 5. It will be interesting to see how much of a discount they put on it.

Had the same problem back then when i tried to run it.

Rage-Uninstalled it then and will just wait for some scene release sometime in the future, with all updates included.

Just finished this today.

Aside from the optimization, wich i didnt had many problems, but than again i shouldnt really with this setup, it is a solid game, i very much enjoyed the story and the gameplay, the visuals of the combat are amazing, the time stopping is incredible in its own unique way.

That beeing said, it could of done with less live action cutscenes and more in game story cutscenes and gameplay.

I would rate this a 7/10, its one of those games that are quite solid but obscured by the bad optimization reviews, its not up there with alan wake or max payne, but its still enjoyable in its own right.

It should get decent FPS on everything maxed out besides volumetric lights or something which I set to high instead of ultra which don't degrade the effects that much but has a big fps hit when on ultra.

For myself, I hit around 40-60 fps pretty smooth in general besides the few hiccups here in there for a few secs on my 1080 / 1440P.

Anyone knows a place where I could buy the PC version for a decent price?

Or of course, if someone would be generous and lend me an account, that solution would be an ok for me. (but i dont think that would happen anyway Very Happy)

http://www.remedygames.com/smilegate-remedy-entertainment-announce-partnership/

TL;DR Remedy is working on the ''story'' mode of CrossFire 2, the sequel the the highly successful and very shitty F2P shooter that's popular with people who can't afford a $30-40 game and have potato PCs.

I guess you take whatever work comes your way. I'm sure it's better than working for Microsoft. Laughing

''Remedy Entertainment is proud to announce a partnership with the leading Korean game company Smilegate known for its highly successful CROSSFIRE franchise.
At the CROSSFIRE Vision Summit held in Shanghai during the China Joy 2016 conference, Smilegate revealed that Remedy is responsible for developing the story mode for the upcoming CROSSFIRE 2.

The whole team here at Remedy is incredibly excited to be a key partner in developing the future of the CROSSFIRE franchise. Smilegate specifically chose Remedy to bring our unique blend of storytelling, memorable characters and inventive gameplay to CROSSFIRE’s global audience.
We have been developing this project for a while and couldn’t be more excited to show you what we’re working on, so stay tuned for more details later down the line.''

At the end of the story mode, it zooms out and you see it's actually Alan Wake playing CrossFire 2. LOL

I can max out the game with upscale on, with it off, i have to put vol lights and shadows to high to get it to 60, and a few other settings i cant remember, but if you use the upscale, its very playable and steady at 60 with everything on ultra.

And if u dont fancy fps drops at 60 with upscale off, you can always lock the fps to 30 and max everything with upscale off (best picture quality)

Still sure that there's a clause in there somewhere that will limit a possible PC version to the win10 crap store Laughing
