Their latest releases have been faster. 3 out of 7 episodes of Minecraft were released with a gap of just a month, 1 was released in less than a month and 1 in less than 2 months and all 3 Michonne episodes were released monthly.
Maybe those were easier to make, but still there's a chance (maybe).
Also next month the retail disc is released, so there's a chance it's going to coincide with the release of ep2.

Official info is that it takes about 6 to 8 weeks till another episode. It will get released between beginning of and mid september. An episodic food is not bad. I wouldnt wait till all eps are released thats nonsense. A good tv show also runs over months and years thats fine.

What a bizarre thing to say. For all we know this is going to be a standalone plot. Or maybe not. A second season depends on the deal they made with DC and how well it sells compared to their other titles.
I think only Games of Thrones was announced as a multi-title licensing deal.

Do you need to copy some of the files from ep 1 to ep 2? When i go to start ep2 from the new release it says ep 1 its not done or completed, if i go to the previous release it has ep1 completed but doesnt show ep2 available

The two releases are from different groups? Or you use a different username? Because then the saves are in different folders.
No. Both are from codex. I got the saves in a Telltale games folder in mydocs, and inside got two separate folders, episode 1 and episode 2.
Edit: Humm, but on the disk i installed, (wich is not the sys disk were the saves are), i have two separated gamefolders: Batman Episode 1, and Batman Episode 2.. what is making some degree of confusion is why it didnt create only one folder with telltale for example with the episodes inside, and one only shortcut on the desktop..

But have you tried yolo-dropping the ep1 saves in the folder of the ep2 saves?
I considered it, but didnt wanted to risk overwriting my previous choices. But i got it working I just created a e:\games\Telltale game and droped the full episode 1, and episode 2 folders inside. Then started from the batman_win8.exe on the episode 2 folder, and voilá, it now shows episode 1 complete with my choices and episode 2 ready to start.
