Honestly, I got HF2 for under $20, and I still feel I got ripped off. Loved the first one, but I daresay this sequel was a sloppy fucking mess in every regard, and it's probably not even worth the yarrr.

Did you try the game again after all the patches?
Apparantely it's better now. |
This was a few weeks ago, a month tops. I was bored and finally bit the bullet and grabbed it.
I didn't really have a problem with performance (the 1070 chewed through it), though it still wasn't where it should have been.
My problem was with the clunky combat mechanics (largely due to the Crytek engine methinks), shitty open-world layout (with that useless fucking bike), the way the endless enemy patrols functioned (everything from the cones of visions to the reinforcement mechanic).
It was, overall, an un-enjoyable meh fest. Put probably 5-6 hours into it and uninstalled never looking back. Massive disappointment.

From all the big D games this is the one I'm most curious about...
Any known releases and their disk size?

@tonizito
I'm downloading this one (Homefront The Revolution RePack SEYTER, ~25GB, 1.06 ver, +3 DLC +Voksi bypass) from rustorka (Seyter uploads there).
Supposedly the same release is available on rarbg, but I decided to make a "fake" account on rustorka and get the original, just in case.
1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB
2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)

@jaapie18
Maybe. That's why I'm downloading from the original source. Seyter is a trusted uploader\repacker there.

I can't make it work.. I keep getting something went wrong crapnuvo error on the first run(!) when steam is getting license files or something..
I tried
1) running as admin
2) revoking patches
Nothing has helped
Any ideas?
I guess I should try downloading homefront torrent "recommended" by voksi lol

PAS Doom worked just fine.. I got this error too but revoking patches fixed it |
Probably patched by steam already? Can't activate Inside too. Denuvo error. Revoking doesn't work.

@KrutojPoc
I read somewhere that steam database is undergoing a short maintenance or something and that's why we can't do shit

And deleted it, for 5$ might be worth it, but wont bother now since i cant play it at max and cryengine looks like crap on anything but high; game seems good though but i think its one of those that if you get bored in the first hour, you wont like it after.
i downloaded
Homefront: The Revolution - Freedom Fighter Bundle (Deep Silver) (RUS|ENG|MULTi8) [v1.06] [L|Steam-Rip] by Fisher + bypass, and works fine

Well, they cracked Rise of the Tomb Raider, maybe there's hope for you yet.
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty
