Sony has probably told him to stfu in social media until the PC version gets released. If everything works on PC that'd be kinda cool.
From what I've seen this is a good game to play if you're bored and you don't have any fun games to play, but you're too lazy to do anything else.

humans are strange creatures, who can sometimes get away with extremely cheap gratification. You may feel like you accomplished something just by mining ore to get off the current planet. If the mood allows, maybe one is actually able to forget the world by mindlessly goggling at the retarded creatures and differently colored/formed plants and rocks. Think of it as an interactive wallpaper or the slightly more interactive alternative to watching an aquarium (I've seen people do this! I was perplexed by them as well)
btw i like your avatar

Yeah, that's some fucking feat | Wait, so you can save a string in a database next to a unique id? What type of fucking magic is that ?! I renounce my atheism, I have found god and it is clearly these guys. All hail Hello Games.

I do understand the need for some people to actually DO SOMETHING, I guess. But does one not go into a new game with the feeling that this could be fun? Instead of making the call that the game is already pants and not fun before trying it themselves? Strange creatures indeed.
That is 1/1 so far about the avatar it seems
p.s Interactive wallpaper ... LOL

* Planet textures from space are unique [Nope, it is the same, people]
* No loading [Space warp times are long and covers up loading]
* Online multiplayer [Nope]
* Grass doesn’t rotate [Grass and shrubs rotate to face the player at all times]
* Real physics [Blasting holes in rocks leaves parts floating]
* Full of action akin to the four fast paced trailers [Nope, it’s boring as heck]
* Animal food chain [Nope, very simple behaviors]
* Never ever see the same thing twice [Space stations all the same, and many variations of the same object]
* Realtime day/night cycles [Nope]

It’s not even a game, it’s a tech demo. It’s pretty much only one planet with variations that have been all figured out. Spend your money elsewhere. (1/10) |

that is known since a long time, people just jump on the hypetrain and expect completely wrong things.
and all that flaws are the reason why it shouldnt be price 60 euros. it is a small indygame (and yes its SMALL cause everything is created procedual, nobody ever touched/modified a single planed in that universe), nothing more. 20 bucks max
even big studios with a massive amount of money fail at generating a complete universe (look at star citizien, yes its not a fail but its far away from being a complete game)

Look it's pretty easy if you think it's crap anyway then why waste your time like this? play something else that's fun to you and ignore it.
There is no need to convince anyone else that this game will be crap and the worst thing ever the hate train is allrdy miles long i really don't see the point in this it's ridiculous and childish.
I will not play it for the coming months the game wouldn't be very fun to me anyway since i like my games as linear and story driven as possible but maybe i might give it a chance when/if they have patched it up.

Oh common, however shit it is I personaly am eager to play it, the releases are low at this point in time and theres something to play, even if it wouldnt have anything more apart from only random planets I'd love it, I see it like a ZEN game to me, just to relax and listen to radio while you run around. Ofc not gonna buy it, absurdly overpriced, but I'll play it

just out of curiousity how many of these were actually promised by the devs and not just wished by the fans under hype-glasses?
from what i noticed in the interviews maybe the 1st one and kinda hinted 5th one?

The guy speaks about the hype-glasses not about fake promises. But they did promise some of that stuff besides the online play.
I posted this because I find it amusing in contrast with the hyperbolic hype on forums and reddit.
Anyway, with everything that's missing and should be standard for such a game, it's hard to argue for NMS price.

It's impossible to ignore the hype of such a game as a gamer without turning off your internet. And who says the scope of these posts is to convince anyone? People hardly change their mind anyway. It's about good points and amusing facts. Threads like this aren't dedicated to fanboys only...

A lot of the hype surrounding the game is definitely media-generated. At no point did Sean promise almost anything on that list.
The issue people are having, is the fact he blatantly lied in interviews, and has ALLOWED the hypetrain to invent things not in the game, even when directly asked about things, it was evaded not confirmed.
And that the game is, ultimately, very dull.
