Well, after playing for a couple hours, collecting and running around on a planet that seemed to never change in looks other than the millions of pumpkins everwhere, I'm glad to say that I just took a huge shit and had more fun with the pushing than I have in this game so far lol.

It's almost impressive how bad this game is, both from a technical standpoint and from a gameplay standpoint. I genuinely can't find anything positive to say about it aside from the fact that shift-deleting it felt very satisfying. Well, the soundtrack is quite good, but you're better off listening to it outside the game where it's not constantly getting interrupted by obnoxious sound effects.

Yup. Coincidentally, I started playing Starbound yesterday, while waiting for NMS's release. Starbound is infinitely better than this, and also has intergalactic travel. Play that instead.

I could start the game once but jdownloader popped up forced the game into background, then I had to kill it with task manager because I couldn't get it to appear again. Now it won't start anymore.

Penryn is a 2007 CPU, so if you have a C2D E7XXX or E8XXX, you are "good" ... as in good luck playing anything modern with those CPUs. Laughing

Sometimes i really wonder what kind of degenerate idiots release a game which doesn't work like it should. How can they release that? Did they even try it before the release? It's like you sell a car without a tires and expect it to drive flawlessly or that no one will notice it.

I see that a lot on the Steam forums for poorly optimized games. People say things like "runs silky smooth for me", but when pressed for proof they admit it's like 30-40 fps.
