@Bob Barnsen Because the game shouldn't use that much, regardless of your system, that's just silly. Do you tell someone else to upgrade to 32 GB as well because some game "demands" it?
Dlc's are often just junk. Side stories, perhaps not even with the protagonist, and not a continuation of the story. Obvious these weren't cut out of the main game, but very rarely do i see dlcs that are worthwhile. I can only think of Dark souls 1 and 2 atm.
You label a product 'Battlefield 1 Collector's Edition', yet Battlefield 1 is NOT in the box. This is just... I just... How the fuck do you explain this, in logic, reasonable terms?!
These guys have reached a legendary level of "bullshit- ness". And they are getting better with time. Also, brainwashing is another excellent feat they seem to have been developed...
Is it not in the box, or is it just that no disk is included and you have download it from the platform's store?
If you mean the current discussion (I guess it's derailing the thread a bit): BF1 has a Collector Edition that doesn't come with the game at all (not in the box, no CD key to redeem it) and another version of the Collector Edition that does come with the game.
Apparently, this is a crime against humanity. EA shouldn't offer a 130$ game-less CE and a 190$ game-included CE.
If I had enough money to waste some on a CE, I would personally preorder the Digital base game and the Physical game-less CE. That way I could start playing at midnight, regardless of how much time it takes to ship the CE.
But hey, it's EA. Must hate them somehow.
What boggles MY mind is how people don't understand that this is just a trick to increase the price of both versions: with and "sans" the game.
Including a redeemable Origin code in the CE "without" the game/CD would cost them almost nothing... (let's assume this situation, considering a physical copy aka DVDs would indeed increase the price).
And having unused (there is no such thing as duplicate when you buy from 2 sources) CD-KEYS has NEVER been a problem! Au contraire, any friend of yours / PC gamer would be glad to buy it much cheaper from you or even receive it as a gift...
i think its safe to say, that you cannot these days anymore play games with 600MB Maxtor drive and 16MB RAM. Have seen countless times that 16GB RAM starts to be pretty common in console ports, since devs cannot code their engines properly, so 16GB is like solution for memory leaks and shit.
Hey, I haven't been following those pre-release gameplay videos much, because... come on What's the point of playing the game if you've already seen most of it on YT?
Anyway - has it been shown somewhere how the XP system works this time around?
Back in the old DE (I mean Human Revolution, not the OLD "old DE") killing was basically a no-no. You got more XP for stealthily knocking people out, preferably in combos (like it was some kind of an arcade beat'em up game with score multipliers ). That way, by KOing EVERY SINGLE enemy on the map, I could unlock almost every skill available.
Is it the same way in this game as well?
Cause what's the point of giving the players fancy guns, toys and moves that kill people and then punishing them for using all of that instead of creeping silently in the corners and whacking enemies in the face? If it was a pure stealth game (Thief, Splinter Cell, w/e) then sure. But DE is about the freedom of picking gameplay style, with all of them equally viable.
Or... at least that's what it's supposed to be
