secret message in ep 5 for those complaining about the progress of this season

There was a strange squiggly noise at the beginning of this episode. My boyfriend is an audio engineer and knew right away that it was the sound of an image being rendered as audio. He grabbed the audio and processed it and found the "Hang in there baby" cat. But what does it mean?
Kidding, I have yet to watch ep5, but ep4 was fantastic!
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
Great episode, tbh I think this season has been pretty good so far. Last two episodes have been pretty strong on character development. Shaping up for a cracking finale.
Spoiler:
Thought that site migration / dread pirate roberts etc. inclusion was pretty genius.

Haven't started watching yet, letting the episodes pile up on my DVR for now, will probably binge it once the season finishes up.
Is it good, or as good as the first season?
It's definitely better than the first season in the sense that the first 4-5 episodes of S1 were ver poorly done, I almost quitted watching back then. But its quality went seriously up from then on. This season started very slowly (which isn't necessarily a bad thing unless you crave for pew pew/hacking in every episode) but has been consistently good the whole time, with the last 2 episodes being some of best since the show started.
I haven't watched this last ep though, I'm reading the word pretentiousness, which worries me a bit, I just hope they didn't go "Cloud Atlas" with this one

I loved the first season and I'm enjoying the hell out of this one. I don't see that changing unless they royally fuck up the second half of this season. It's worth noting though that I'm completely okay with the slow pacing and the trippy storytelling, while others find it confusing and boring, which would understandably lead to them really disliking the last few eps.
As far as Ep 6 goes, I don't see how it's any more pretentious than the previous episodes. My only complaint is that the opening sequence drags a little bit.
The first 18 minutes of the latest ep felt like they were really trying to get people to give up on the show, talk about trying too hard. The only way out was to skip third of the episode.
Boom! Artsmanship!

Nah, they went the 'Community 'our writers blew it so we're gonna make the ep wacky' way'
disclaimer: I'm just really bitter because I loved first season /it used to be a good show
Ok, just watched the episode. Yeah that opening segment was completely overkill, I wouldn't call it pretentious, just plain ridiculous. I might have laughed a couple of times but otherwise it was very lame. Luckily it was only 15 minutes and the rest of the episode was pretty great
Angela is such a noob, so cute I'm really loving how down-to-earth the hacking scenes have become now (compared to the ridiculousness of the first episodes of the series), though I could see it bothering people who don't know a single thing about it.
BUT, if you look at that timestamp, Killers did mistake a scene for comercial when it isnt.. You will miss a few sec. if you watched the killers release..
Hell, that scene even is in 4:3 format, so meant to be part of the episode..
anyway, didnt anyone else catch that?

I thought the first 15 minutes were clever, kind of taking the piss at the viewers expense. How people soak up that sitcom bullshit, thats what i thought they were going for anyway.. Seems to have gone over a lot of viewers heads though.
Ps. Ive always hated sitcoms, treat the viewer like a moron inserting laughter in case you forget. I'm really loving this season, very happy they are not catering to derp that would want more hacking and michael bay explosions.
