despite bad opinions here, i like the game,. at first i was blah, but then i like it , the more i progress in game, game is getting better, i almost missed this gem,.. but yet, who gives a shit anyway
Well as I said before, if it wasn't for the name-dropping which inherently ties the game to a cherished classic from our youth, and it wasn't for the eye-raping bloom, the game wouldn't have been that bad at all.
It's bug free for the most part. But if you didn't like Crysis 2 I don't see how you would like this..

Maybe it didn't have bloom and the testers were asking how to turn the texture quality to High. So they overdid the bloom effect and the testers now were asking why the bloom hurts their eyes, which is a much easier question to answer.
I liked the game ... Did it looked like that on 360? Don't remember it being so overdone

I always wanted to try out the Coop part of this game but i won´t shell out money for it since i highly suspect that it is dead and was like that after 1 week or 2

I installed it today, but doesnt run in windows 10? tried it with compatibility mode xp and win7. Nothing.

Try a different crack (if there are many). Ask what crack Bob used. edit Oh yeah it's an Origin game so there probably is only 1.

I just started it up yesterday with that mod under Win10. Worked without problems.
I don't have the Anniversary Update though. Maybe that is the problem, if you have it?
Got skidrow version with latest windows update, tried to see maybe some files got quarantined. Not a single one , tried to disable nod32 didnt work either. Origin and steam both offline when I tried to load the game.
Oh well maybe I'll have more luck with NMS update.
I get this when I try to play my legit Origin copy on Windows 10 x64 Build 1607 -

From what I've been able to gather, Windows doesn't like old Securom games. DRM showing its true colors again.
Time to yarrr this motherfucker and be done with it.
Edit - Found the issue. There was a BIOS update for my board (specific to Skylake processors) - "Fix Intel processor issue which may cause some video games to exhibit launch issues with video game error code 8016."
Seeing as how I'm not going to risk flashing my BIOS to just play one game, still going to yarrr it.

Flashed BIOS just to be able to play this fucking thing (never had to do that just so fucking DRM would work - shows just how invasive Securom was).
Anyway, got to milestone 13, and the part where your supposed to mash a QT key in order to open the door doesn't work for me. He never grabs it correctly, and then the prompt just vanishes.
This guy here shows it done correctly at 2:37...
