I see many CVs in local languages. How common is that? In my world, all CV is in English, almost exclusively. I don't even remember seeing a Hebrew written one.

In Poland it's almost never required, unless you're working for a company that uses English as a main or exclusive language.

Id say 95% of Norwegians have a CV in Norwegian, even tho they work with people/companies in other countries. Having a LinkedIn account is quite common here, and not only for engineers and people with high education Smile

Of course you will use the local language if you are applying to companies in your country. Israel is weird.

Not in the software field. We also write mails in English predominantly, not in Hebrew; it is really awkward to see Hebrew in company mails. Usually it's the HR people or finance.

Same here in Poland - corporate language in IT is English, so CVs are mostly required that way, so are mails and any other written communication that might reach more than a single, Polish-speaking person.
