In the end his name is still dropped frequently in regards to the games, and most people who didn't read the books assume that the games were also fully written by him, so he is actually getting alot of fame and praise for many aspects he didn't have anything to do with.

There aren't really that many mods for it anyways or?

- The ones i used were Debug Console Enabler to enable freecam mode for screenshots.
- And of course Friendly HUD.

I'm about to get back (start really) into this. Will that Console Enabler work with 1.31 by chance?

There is a single mod I used for the game: Over9000ngplus

Carry weight mod. If you are an avid explorer, like me, with the need to get to every inch, then you will appreciate this greatly.

I completed this (apart from the last exp, almost but not quite) - I did a fair number of side quests, but not all of them.

I keep wondering if a second playthrough is worth it?

I've recently also finally completed everything. I'd guestimate 240 hours steam logged for base game +HOS, and then B&W 40-50 hours at least. so around 300 is a fair number for a single playthrough.

Overall, B&W is definitely solid. it's basically base game in a smaller setting. As far as story parts go, it doesn't dethrone HOS for me. Vlodomir is just too good to be dethroned.

Content is plentiful, sometimes even too plentiful. I've done several quests, when mid quest i'd stumble into another quest and not even know it until I get ganked by a red skull.

I enjoyed the new sign boosts; yrden was very juicy with the range and stat boosts. As far as the new enemies go, those toxic plants were actually a challenge for a while.

I can say I am glad they made the whole game playable without the hud. In the base game a few scenes were impossible without some hud elements.

I pretty much did everything I could, even renovated the vineyard you receive. there were some truly poetic moments during cutscenes, you can see the devs were giving their best in the farewell to Geralt.

Regis was a good cast. A well developed friend character, eloquently voiced. The quest with Roach was great. Breaking the 4th wall based on community feedback and still keeping the immersion intact truly takes skill and shows how comfy the devs are with the engine and the lore.

Combat, for the most part, still does get stale fast, and there is no need for most gear and signs, as a few things are so OP, which coupled with the enemy design that doesn't have much depth except swarming you with superior numbers, means you will be forced to use those few OP attacks just to alleviate the tedium and repetition.

Lack of items. Basically, my only item hunt was collecting griffin armor. any other gear I found was either crap, or other witcher schools that don't fit my build.

Low interactivity in the cities, with NPC's, and a lack of stealth/theft gameplay elements are still a factor as well.

But when all is said and done, as a sum of its parts, it's brilliant. The last scene in the game is very memorable and yet so simple, and if you see it for yourself, you will be glad you played witcher 3. Or at least I was. PC Master Race

I keep reading stuff like
"you should remember that your current save games will not work with the GOTY edition. CD Projekt recommends that owners of the existing game consider the Season Pass instead"

I just uninstaled Witcher 3 and installed the Goty in its place and continued with the old savegame i had. How is Season Pass not the same as Goty ? makes no sense.

@previous comments mentioning OP things... what build other than Euphoria is good for Death March ?
