The timer counts up now instead of down.

DICE pulled the same shit on the Battlefield 2 demo which was the Gulf of Oman map back in the day, limiting each round to 15 minutes, however someone almost immediately figured out a glitch to halt the timer and let the round play out normally.

I like it, my main gripe was with the match lenghts so far

It can also swing to the left. However, apparently, you can prone and avoid being hit. Unless the horse runs over you, that is. Laughing

You can only switch camera side, not the side on which you swing the cavalry sabre.

Other thing - the tankgewehr is awesome for oneshooting people. Incredible. No bullet drop (i think) and the bullet hits instantly.
Also the russian rifle for recon class is great. Straight pull bolt makes the gun reload very fast. The downside is lower damage (75 i think), but if you are someone who rarely shoots the head its a great gun.

I think it's the latter. One of the first things i checked was if you can swing on the left and all i could do was only change the camera side. If the dude is right-handed (the way he holds and shoots the Winchester he seems to be) it makes sense.

It was posted two days ago going by that Reddit post date so what I did to check was that I went back about two days worth of posts (~20 err 2 pages.) in this topic and couldn't find anything related to weather, seems i should have gone a bit further back still then. Very Happy
(Was probably three pages back where I just barely missed it. )

Wow, you are right...I sucked, couldn't hit anyone. I was blaming myself. But as soon as turned vsync off, it all went away and I'm actually enjoying shooting, now it's all responsive and feels just right.

Good thing that I dont notice any tearing even with vsync off.

For me the input lag is usually unnoticeable if I cap the framerate in addition to having VSync enabled. Don't have VSync enabled in this one though, for performance reasons.

Adaptative v sync usualy solves it for me these days, barely any input lag, and it only activates itself when needed. Its the best of both worlds as far as i can tell, especialy if you can sustain 60 fps consistently.

I am not sure how it would be the best solution. As far as I know, if you sustain 60fps consistently it's just plain old VSync and when it's less - no VSync. Basically, in terms of input lag, it's off when it wouldn't matter anyway and it's on when it will cause input lag.

It could help with stutter and VSync implementations that lack "triple-buffering", but I don't think it's really helpful with input lag. I don't usually use it myself, because in games where I felt it could be useful the transition from VSync to no VSync appeared more jarring than having it stay constantly on or off (...and because at 120Hz it would be off in most cases anyway Very Happy).

I actually prefer the med bags instead of the crate, because you don't have to stay at the same position to get healed.

Well you can have both! But yeah, sort of run and gu..heal.

Crate for humpers and pouches for self, might actually do that. Don't use the syringe even now, as it just wastes space. Don't have noobtube smoke unlocked yet, so not much lost on rifle nades, although they are fun Smile

The new update (going on 1,5h now) unlocks all weapons, vehicle loadouts and accesories. Also changed the tank balance a bit (less tanks at once from what i read).

I can finally use new weapons - until now i couldn't rank up classes no matter what i did (changing servers, reinstalling...).

Why the fuck was there a question on BF1 twitter regarding which map would we want to play in the beta? It ends tomorrow FFS.
