yeah, I wouldn't be able to deal with a fix like that. constant 30fps=nausea for me in most games. not to mention it's a racing game.
Still hoping I won't have the frameskipping. |
Tried everything, i get this frameskipping once in a while, the fps is 60 steady on ultra though, i guess its a bug, googled it, and a lot of ppl have it, shame, i was RLY enjoying the game, but its unplayable, every other turn i take it frameskipps for 1 or 2 secs, its crazy...
ITs not a matter of SSD either, theres loads of ppl with ssd and have this problem still

happened to me to.
after googling and fiddling around i found that installing the Windows Update (Windows6.1-KB2670838-x64.msu) in: Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\The Crew (Worldwide)\Support
worked for me. After installing it (i didnt want to, cause its called teh "evil" update, when u google it) and restarting teh PC, it worked without problem..
Im on windows 7 64bit

Also, im a little late to the party of "teh crew", are there any performance tweaks? i do only get around 50 fps, doesnt matter if i use LOW or ultra..
or is this game just poor ported?

Tried it for 20 minutes, instantly uninstalled it. This was such a crappy performance, first off, 5 second freezes, then 0.5sec freezes even though everything was turned to low and it still plays like garbage. I can play any game fairly well on high settings but this doesn't run at all? What the fuck, I know why it's free now.

same here, haha, ark runs better then this..
even when its at 60 fps it feels laggy and bad..

Borderless window and Medium on most stuff, maybe also limiting it to 60 fps. It still lags, don't feel it's worth it to satisfy the little "driving and customization" fever.
