Taking a trip out to Tallinn and Riga from Tuesday until the following week, 5 nights in Tallinn, 4 in Riga. Just want to know if there's much to see/check out whilst there and what is the weather like? Is it still warm enough to wear shorts or will it be jeans all the way. How expensive are things generally? Worth a day trip to Helsinki?

In Estonia I'd advise jeans Very Happy temp is around 12C during the day and under 10 by night. Tallinn is relatively cheap I'd say, but ofcourse you can find prices ranging from cheap to really high depending on what and where you want it.

I think that for Estonia, check out all the sights that are scattered throughout the country. These typicalt tourist sights in Tallinn, Tartu etc are rather boring and overpriced (if they require a ticket) Smile

Otherwise common items are cheap here.

Thanks for the tips guys, i'm sure we'll have a good time with plenty to see, somebody told me Estonia is the equivalent of Benidorm to the English, only it's for the Scandinavians. Somewhere they go to pick up cheap drink and the likes.
