The stuttering is real, and it's ridiculous.
I mean, 970, 1080p, medium settings, and it still pauses on occasion while my HDD is crying tears of data constantly.
I whack it up to 4k, and the fps drops a little, which is expected, but only to 50-55. Stuttering is exactly the same. 2k... same..... 640x480.... exactly the same!
It's bizarre. Either MS just don't really care, or they believe that 10x series cards are standard for some reason. Or the .5Gb or shitty VRAM is making a huge difference.
Either way, I can't wait to get my 1080 next week... but it should't be this way.

is there any fps counter for this dx 12 game? fraps, msi ab, and experience they all fail and the only one mirillis action has error.

I noticed that the store page says DirectX Feature Level 11 even for recommended specs. So no dx12 or typo?

Neither.
Feature Levels only indicate what features are available within the API, not what API version it is.
FL11 probably means 11_0 here (as opposed to 11_1, which Kepler and Maxwell 1 don't support), which is the lowest level required to run the DX12 API. It's different from FL 11_0 in DX11. |

if they would set it to dx12 in the store nobody with older cards (like kepler) which are not dx12 cards but still capable of running the game could download the game (they did it with halo 5 forge, nobody could download it till they fixed the store requirements)

You could try to buy an xbox-one account for 29€ that has the game, I heard it works for pc too ( thanks to play everywhere ). But I dont know how safe those accounts are, I read multiple times the accounts get banned etc after a while :/.

Disabling the core works perfectly for 970 users too - provided you drop down to HIGH levels (Probably could use ULTRA on some settings, not had time to check yet.) But it definitely works.

You can redeem XBOX keys on xbox.com anyway so shouldn't be an issue.

Guys, quick question here. I assume it doesn't bother most of you but I'm an OCD type of person:
Shortcut desktop icon is blank for me (wasn't like this until a few days ago); tried to reinstall, icon stays blank (instead of the pink FH3 one). Anyone else have this? any idea?

Even at 1400p, it doesn't stutter or drop frame-rate anymore. 
Haven't shared it with anyone, I played it on my own account (stats are there), only used the purchased account in the Store app to download the game. I changed the pw but they say I can do that in their disclaimer. Just fyi.
