Meh.. why can't we have a proper, gritty game about pirates with whores, boobs, blood, swearing and all.. Laughing

This sounds interesting, and although I do not like the "cartoonish" looking games, or how would you call it, I have to admit the sea and the effects are pretty nice.
Shame this game will not have a single player, as mentioned in the article, but you can play alone.

There's a pretty cool f2p game on steam called The Pirate: Caribbean Hunt which actually has a single player campaign:

It's constantly updated with new stuff and microtransactions are mostly cosmetic.

Tried it. Unfortunately, it's an amateurish Unity engine game with an atrociously hideous and basic UI. You can't even remap controls. Sad

I still have no idea what the gameplay on land is about.
Do you really just run around and look for treasure and then bring it back on your ship? Meh.


And yep, i would have prefered a nice singleplayer campaign too.
