can someone give me a game where in the beginning it was bad and due patches they made it back great again? my question is then also can you make a game great again with releasing patches ?

WTF?! Where is this going? For now it seems the game is shit, that's ok. So why waste time with it? That's all I was going to say. complain as much as you want, for me it's a waste of time.

Red Faction Guerilla had very low framerate and stutter, the release version. One single small patch that they released uped my framerate about 70% and made it all fluid.
Stalker Clear Sky at release was so broken and demanding you couldnt believe. One of the later patches improved the performance so dramatically that i could switch from medium to high details and uped the res from 1024 to 720p, with around the same framerate

The big elephant in the room is not the frame rate but the blurish low res textures - they most certainly used up-scaling for console textures and did not bother creating at least 1080p textures and the result is that mafia 2 is a prettier game than this...
What's the point in having nvidia 1080 or 980 GTX Ti when the "maximum detail + quality" in an 2016 AAA game looks like this (I don't think that this can be fixed quickly - maybe an modder who can make a hires pack but it will take some time...):

This upscaling crap is a spit in the face for the pc gaming community ( see quantum break also...).
They want to talk ONLY about an fix for the frame rate because this is easy to achieve but what about how ugly the game is in 1080p and above???
What about those nice youtube trailers with gorgeous graphics and "the real thing"???
Shit, it's like feeling big fake boobies after big natural ones...

with some reshade magic you can get rid of the blurry mess, looks pretty ok now. Game is great btw, storywise until now.

Consoles' wet dream is parity with PC.
Once game dev companies understand they'll make money regardless of AAA budgeted titles, AAA will slowly die and all we're left with is buying games piecemeal and through episodic content, indie shit and 'build your own game' through micro-transactions.

Played for about 45 minutes until the first crash, not sure if crack related or not.
But to be honest, I really like the game so far - the story, sounds, music, controls, the overall feeling of the game is pretty good.
However, as already said, the graphics could be a lot better texture wise + that 30 FPS lock is unbelievable, hopefully they will get rid of that during the weekend.

Is it even close to native 1080? My panel is 1080p and I absolutely abhor upscaled games. I took a dive and played Quantum break without upscaling and even if it fucked up my FPS, I very much prefer it over the vaseline filter. Vaseline is made for other purposes
