What a clusterfuck... ah well.. i bet there is still people that believe console parity doesn't exist in the minds of publishers and devs. Keep on gobbling that shit down

When they get a boot far up in their shithole, THEN they fix their shit in a couple of days. The goddamn years they were developing this thing spending millions they found no time for unlimited framerate etc.
It's like the developers are doing a grand experiment to see what they can get away with? Capped framerate, low fov, improper widescreen support, shitty mouse acceleration, cinematic black bars, unskippable intros, chromatic abomination, how will we annoy the players now and still make a profit?
EDIT: I am talking about PC gaming in general, not this game.

Just sounds like they wanted to get the game out there, console-ready, do the smallest amount of PC porting work possible in order to release, and then either:
a) Expect the backlash from PC players, and just ride with it, get the PC patch ready after release, give it to them and then ignore the multitude of crashes due to not checking if it will work on a PC less than their development system.
or
b) Make sure the console version ran as well as it could without worrying about little things like framerate - after all, console owners are not fussed about such things. Console owners will also be happy they have parity with PC's and can feel smug in their cheap ass console. PC owners will only pirate the shit out of it, and as any fule knoes, there are only about 35 PC gamers, and they're all called Steve. Steve is not important as his voice will be drowned out by the console faithful.

Loving the game! I can look past the 30 FPS for a couple of days but the graphics are fine amd the atmosphere is holy fucking awesome. I got goosebumps when playing. Voice actors are superb and gameplay is very good. Been waiting a long time for a game like this.
Remember when LA Noire came out on PC it was only 30FPS then it was fixed and it's an awesome game! Try to look past the FPS issue for 1 - 2 more days and just enjoy the game.
So far it feels like an odd mixture of Mafia II and Ass Creed Syndicate.
''eagle vision'' shows you entry points and other points of interest, highlights enemies, and you take out gangs to draw out the leader and take him out.
Lincoln's an alright protagonist, I guess. Early on in the game they mention his dad is white. I'm waiting for the reveal that Joe is his dad.
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

Parity? The game works on the consoles.

Since the game was piratable early on, at least they have a nice scapegoat for why it didn't sell X amount of copies. Not for any other reasons of course, just piracy.
So you are murdering people, often in brutal and exaggerated ways, stealing from people and beating the shit out of random strangers but these guys felt that the racism needed a special disclaimer. Self parody at it's greatest lol.

This is a bug or some abnormal situation right? The game can't be so fucked...
I hope that with this launch disaster the whole fashion of preordering a game will be off for good because too many times it is the same situation again:

there's 0 risk in preordering games on steam these days. Everything I buy, I first play for few hours in offline mode, and then if the game is bad, I refund it before the 2 weeks are up.

Ya know, under all that technical mess, there's actually a decent game, imo. I'm having a lot of fun with it, but this doesn't excuse anything, not until it's fixed. And that horrendous weather system, christ.

SJWs in a nutshell, really.
I saw some tweets posted by the "Senior Writer" and "Senior Black Writer" on this game. Let's just say they would, unsurprisingly, fit in on Tumblr.
It's interesting how strong the performance fluctuates. Starting the game for a third time yielded me with stutters and a freeze spike every 25 secs, starting the game up again, the issue disappeared and the performance was increased.
