They're just covering themselves so that if anyone runs into a compatability issue, they don't need to bother fixing it, because they told people so.

I've done that a while ago with the melee alch build as well. Build is still powerful but you have to be more careful because enemies start to hit hard as fuck at some point. Try to go after the upgraded armor sets ASAP.

Also , be carefull of drowners and nekkers groups. They cam devastate you if you are not careful Razz

Well.. got Quen intensity to +90% from armor glyphs so it should block 2 hits and since you can use adrenaline for signs you can pretty much spam quen and have it on you non stop for the entire game Very Happy same problem as the previous games..

I'd say HoS was probably better than B&W, story-wise, except maybe for the ending. You should definitely play them both Ixi.

Well, the money was always on you knowing it Very Happy

Should you wish, anything from the steam store for 10 bucks, that catches your eye, it's yours, for the display of exemplary knowledge of fine films of our youths.

And the expansions are magnificent. wait till you experience vlodomir in all his glory.

+ a whole lot of references, even a small nod to the rolling simulator king.

I've been replaying the game for the last couple of... well, weeks already, since I still have Blood and Wine left to play Very Happy It's proven to be very good at reminding me why I love it throughout this time, but now I've reached Hearts of Stone and damn, it's exactly as ridiculously good as I remember it to be. There are scenes where a couple of words along with great mood and fantastic music do more with the narrative than some games manage to do throughout their entire run. And some characters who are worthy of either being a hero of their own game/book (because the writing, for once, is actually good enough to warrant that comparision) or being the antagonist of one. Or both at the same time, as is typical for this damn world Laughing

I've been listening to the theme

Well I can see them being fairly valuable with the success of Witcher 3 and then other venues such as GOG but I haven't heard anything about someone wanting to buy them up but I guess you usually don't until it's well underway.

Could also be a preventive measure just in case.

EDIT: Who would or could buy them though? EA? Ubisoft? Warner?
( Andrzej Sapkowski ? Razz )

EDIT: Preventive? Preventative? Huh both work.
(Now I have to look up the difference.)
(They're both right? http://grammarist.com/spelling/preventative-preventive/ )

i honestly think its just preventative... after witcher 3's success, and the fact they seem to have flourished into a genuine 'big' developer capable of AAA development (and with their cyberpunk game in the pipeline plus other projects), i think they're just covering their asses to preserve themselves now that they're big time... ready to start clawing back ownership as it were...

Microsoft incoming? They have shown, through the years, a keen interest on CDPR. God I hope there is no change in ownership.

i think they wouldnt go with microsoft because of a: ms being too restrictive, and b: ms would shut down their 'baby', gog. ms has its own store they want to push, it doesnt 'do' drm free gaming.

They won't have a choice hence hostile takeover. Unless the existing board member(s) can come up with the required capital to regain majority they may loose to anyone with serious market value.
