We'd really need somebody to vehemently step up and give these lazy bums a serious run for their money. When there's such a blatant monopoly and your simple re-hash job still sells millions of copies anyway, there is no incentive to promote innovation and/or explore new grounds.

When I worked for them many years ago they didn't care about quality then and all you heard about was how they was being screwed over by piracy.
This was before switch to Steam.
I remember one guy who was "let go" he was a work horse finding bugs all the time which was his job they didn't like the fact he was finding so many and then stating there was big issues.
The game still runs using 32bit that is just lazy and shows how far behind they really are (The excuse they would use is tailoring for multi hardware I bet)
It is actually confusing the hell out of me why they bother with it. I try to get away from media stuff in the game, so this is actually a really bad evolution in my opinion.
You will get more spam about transfers etc from journalists too now apparently. I guess you can't just force staff members to handle the media bs in its entirety.
I don't understand the appeal of the social media as well. They are concentrating on the wrong shit. I'll eat my hat if there is at least 1 FM player that cares about that shit.

That side of things wont change they relie on the workshop too much for that kind of thing and as you can tell they refuse to pay out to get anything.
I always said why didn't they try and cut a deal with EA they could of gone to Origin rather then Steam plus get the proper license which does make a big difference.
Really hope this version has a working crack quickly to put them in their place.
This new version claims 64bit support but lets see how that plays out the spec they have released doesn't look like it will take full advantage maybe the extra ram the game will see can be for the memory leaks lol
For what this game is, the prices around the web are quite insane. Prices have even gone up in many stores since the 'Feature video' and now that the beta is out.
The game is an addiction on some basal level and FM feeds in a similar way as FIFA/Madden NFL.
If the prices hadn't gone up in the stores (that I'm aware of) I probably would have caved, but now I'm priced out, there's no way I'm buying this now. So other games better come out and grab my attention.
Playing FM, listening to music + alt tabbing to check forums etc is a dangerous zen state. If you have multiple monitors, you have it good.
