No, there are idle programs out there that do all the work. You just have to have the games in your Steam Library (you could even removed them afterwards if you so desire). Takes as much effort as those 'cure cancer with idling' programs. 
Since the start of that silly card program I made a few 100's of euro's so yeah, I think it's worth reading up about it. If you don't want to bother with it that's fine, but don't dismiss it with ignorance.  |

New on Steam games: sell a.s.a.p.
Other games depends: some go up and some go down, depending on how big a fan base is or how 'hip' the emoticons/backgrounds are. Bundle makes them crash hard before they stabilise again.
Stable prices are (guarantee to them being bought): 5 card games go for 0.07 more than 5 card games go for 0.05. Handy to know if you are going to sell them in bulk.

would say sell them instantly, especially when a game is free giveaway. if you are fast you still sell them for 6-7 cent. after a few hours they drop down to 3-4 cents (which means you get 1-2 cents). for big titles im not sure, but i would sell them fast too. when more people have the game and sell their cards they will go down in price ofc

Most free games do stabilise over a few weeks though... unless they keep on doing giveaways.
