Seriously, watch the original.
It's dated now, obviously, but it's still great

Saner is not being serious. Unless its the subject of Santa!

You can watch. I don't think it will spoil anything from the series as they are not 1:1 copies.
The movie doesn't have any kind of twist that the series will probably have and has a fairly simple story.
sar·casm | \ ˈsär-ˌka-zəm \
1: a sharp and often satirical or ironic utterance designed to cut or give pain
2a: a mode of satirical wit depending for its effect on bitter, caustic, and often ironic language that is usually directed against an individual
b: the use or language of sarcasm

Finally a new good show
The modern part is a bit crude.
It would probably take some kind of psychotic personalities to work on that environment. The idiot guy does have a point when he says the dummies should´nt get to real.
PS:
I´v seen the movie when i was a kid, don´t remember shit.

Someone help me out. I downloaded what I thought was E1 and E2 combined, but the total run length is about an hour max. The E3 seems to be an hour on it's own.
Is this right? Something seems weird!

Oh FFS I just realised I watched E02...
Which means I haven't see E01 yet...
Strangely all made sense though...

The subtle yet extremely noticeable character development is the most fascinating aspect for me so far, the actors are doing such a fine job.
Stirring the pot with style, in preparation for the inevitable outcome. *grabs a bag of $40k popcorns*. We also got some proper demo feedback when it comes to the bullets!
Spoiler: | I wonder if the "deeper" endgame that Ed Harris is pursuing, is actually meant for the hosts, like some kind of strange Turing test in order to make them acquire full consciousness.
From the hints it seems that the man behind that is likely the Arnold character mentioned by Ford, though it's quite early to tell. For each answer we receive, we get two more new questions |

Man, I gotta say (love this show btw, I really do #trumpimpression) , maybe I have no idea of what I'm talking about but for me the whole park concept would be boring if I was a potential guest, I would be constantly reminded everything is fake and just worth what a luxury cybernetic bordello would be, so I'm pretty sure my stance/approach would be much closer to Ed Harris's character's approach, whatever that ends up being. In other words, he'd be the character I'd identify the most with, as scary at it might sound
Show is so perverse, but I love it

I'd hate to be the guy that has to clean some guy's jizz out of the robots' faux vaginal cavities

Three episodes in and still have a weird felling... like I am really enjoying the show but my subconsciousness find it creepy and grim.
The only other time I felt like that is while playing SOMA.

Haha yeah, I would feel the same, it's actually not scary...but very relatable.
The daily routines and all the main quests available for the guests are basic and frankly quite superficial, one just rolls with the advanced theme park to please some needs, have an adrenaline boost and nail Evan Rachel Wood ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). That's fun, but messing with such evolved AIs and manipulating them/exploring their possibilities is the real deal, moreso if there's an additional hidden sidequest/puzzle to solve..almost like Myst with NPCs.
