I went to my brother-in-laws new house. It is 10,000 square feet. All maxed out everywhere. All for 5 people.

Me, I have a lousy 2000 square foot house.

What do you all think is the perfect size house? Say for 4 people.

As medium sized-small and compact as possible, but with high tech appliances and a nice garden and plot of land.
