So..when Negan throws the axe out the RV door, how does it end up on the fucking roof?? Rick didn't find it and bring it up when he climbed up, it was already there...lol.

Anyway, what a brutal episode...man.

EDIT: Ok I rewatched that scene Negan threw the axe up on the RV roof.

Haha, it's really an age thing too though i think.. Me and many of my friends watched the absolutely worst things that was available in the 80' and 90's.. snuff, horror, every day for years.. These days (in our 40-50's) it's a lot harder to stomach stuff like that.. I noticed it with my friends too, and i can also now understand why my parents wasn't really too fond of us watching so much gore. As you grow older you get more emotions (because of more life experiences).. As a kid, even into your 30's (in my case at least) your mind is really dull and unsympathetic.

Anyways, great episode. So many emotions Very Happy

Good first episode, I liked how they created the tension. Perfectly done.

The brutality didn't faze me one bit, but after the shit I saw in the cinema two weeks ago I doubt any movie violence is gonna affect me for a while, so it's not the episode's fault.

Good stuff. Keep 'em coming Very Happy

It's a local movie you probably won't be able to see for a while yet - at least until it reaches BluRay. It's called "Wołyń" and it's about a massacre that took place in Eastern Europe in 1943. It's a harsh one, because it doesn't glorify violence (the way, say, Saw series does) - not really, even though it's full of it. It just shows you the worst, ugliest, dirtiest part of human soul in a rather matter-of-fact way. Brutality that's not entertainment, if that makes any sense. When a scene showing skinning someone's arm alive is not the highlight of violence in a given movie (and in fact later turns out to be one of the tamest parts) you know you're in for a ride. The fact that it actually happened (in a broader sense, not neceserilly when it comes to details or particular interpretations of reasons) doesn't help either.

Brutal first episode. Probably the best one i remember.

I just hope that other episodes won't be about driving to a supermarket because Neagan wants some icecream and fighting off zombies on the way back and waiting for the last episode when they get their revenge.

@4treyu

Killing the boss and running away wasn't an option.Saviors would have just killed the rest. Game over. However,..taking Negan hostage..now that was entirely possible at a certain moment. and it was the only way Rick could have a chance to save his friends

I'm not talking about the moment Negan

Nudity is shown on some cable networks late at night. There's actually no law preventing them from showing it whenever they want, it's the advertisers that run commercials who dictate what content can be shown. I guess they all want to be seen as family friendly or something. Then there are channels like HBO and Cinemax that don't have any censorship regardless of time of day, but you have to pay more to get them.

I meant networks networks as in a broadcast television network, not a pay cable. I know that a pay cable can show it.Anyways, it's not just TV though Laughing

I can definitely see Negan as a family friendly man! He will prolly make a good father who will teach his children some proper values Troll Face

The only complaint I have about that ep is that Negan looked goofy with the jacket zipped up. Cool guys wear biker jackets open when they aren't on a bike.

i wish they had a rape scene, that would make the episode perfect.
