Wha-?
So I'm guessing that the base game is quite polished and finished (as opposed to Nehrim) for them to be talking about extra content already or...?
There was still a lot of stuff they had to cut for various reasons, mostly cause people working on something lost interest and stopped, likely they picked some of that stuff up and are finishing it.
Seems to be a summary of some of the cut content.
(Though what the add-on will restore well I guess we won't know besides any details they decide to post ahead of it's release like this info on crafting.)
However various changes (64-bit havok instead of 32-bit.) has led to some changes to the model format so custom animation mods in particular are a bit screwed until the modeling tools are updated.
(Scripts and sounds are identical if I remember correctly as is textures though support for uncompressed .tga is dropped.)
It uses SKSE heavily as well so there needs to be a SE version of that first, they also said their main scripting guy stopped modding a while ago so difficult stuff is out of the question.
Man I just finished this and it was a phenomenal experience, aside from CTD's, through and through. Over 85h invested, explored almost everything.
Phenomenal writing (not just the story, but the books too), great characters, great world, amazing level design and environments, improved gameplay (no level scaling makes a huge difference regarding balancing, combat and world exploration rewards).
It beats Skyrim on all those marks. It's incredible to believe it's 'just' a mod (fully voice acted mod that actually sounds good, what madness is this?).
It's a tough cookie, since graphically speaking most of the standard Skyrim texture mods don't work with Enderal (only the faces/hair/eyes ones), and even ENB presets need to be adjusted for the game because of the different lighting. Some of the "general" mods however are compatible, including the combat ones. Not all of them, but *it's something* - considering that the vanilla combat is..so-so.
Personally I went with only just a few mods that were/are fully compatible in order to avoid problems:
- Wildcat, Vigor, Difficult Archery for the combat;
- iHUD, Realistic Ragdolls & Force, Enhanced Camera and Better Jumping, and that's it.
There are probably more combos available but with such custom made campaigns it's always better to stay safe, or you get random Bethmadness
Made a push to finish this after breaking of a few months back, glad I did it.
Really liked the final boss fight and the ending I got, along with the overall story of the game.
Really sad how these guys can create a plot better than anything bethesda did in the last... 15 years? Wonder if they'll try their hand developing an actual game sometimes, IMO they have the right stuff for it, but really need to work on better optimization.
Also cool to see that CDProjekt let them use models and textures from TW, very cool!

i guess thouth if without a legit key the installation was rolling back we are all fucking then
Enderal will be available for free and playable as long as there is an installation of Skyrim via Steam. However, the installation and update process of Enderal are now done via Steam.
Furthermore, Enderal will have a completely standalone game and save game directory, so that the installation will no longer interfere with your Skyrim directory. You will be able to have both games installed at the same time!
Christmas is here, and Enderal isn't - why is that? We've promised an announcement this week - and this is it.
Long story short: though we submitted our Steam build some weeks back, the unusual data structure and Enderal's dependency on Skyrim makes the process a lot more complicated than we thought. Until Steam approves of our build, we can't release.
All this means that Enderal isn't coming before January 2019
Damn, I totally forgot about this one I thought I played it, but it seems I never did. I've already gave up on a modded Skyrim, but this really looks good.
I played it a while back, was very impressed and enjoyed it through and through. Calling it a mod feels wrong even though technically correct, it's a complete game.
What do I need exactly to play this and where do I get it ? Is this mod already complete in the state it is now or will the steam version be more complete with the latest ?
Should I wait ?
Cheers!

It felt complete when I played it over a year ago.
