I hope so, I've been enjoying the drama since release date and I can't wait for some DLC to come out!

http://www.forbes.com/sites/erikkain/2016/10/28/that-mysterious-deleted-no-mans-sky-tweet-wasnt-a-hack/#13ee226a35ef

Hello Games twitter account posts: ''No Man's Sky was a mistake''. Tweet is then deleted and tweets become protected.

People suspect someone hacked their account, but Polygon claims they contacted Hello Games, and someone claiming to be Sean Murray said he was behind the tweet.

Forbes contacted Hello Games and the person they spoke to claimed that a ''disgruntled employee'' is behind the tweet.

Now they claim they were hacked - https://twitter.com/NoMansSky/status/792011018734010370

So, did Sean have a moment of clarity and posted that tweet, and his co-workers referred to him as a ''disgruntled employee'', or did someone hack them and had a bit of fun.

I'm guessing the latter, but totally hoping for the former. Laughing

Meh, now it's: "just a hack"...
He's always been a hack fraud! Cool Face

Seriously though: He should man/woman/Lizzard (pick what offends you the least) up already. It boggles my mind how people just can't admit fault or failure any more. Or well... go at greater lengths these days to act like nothing happened. In something like this big... yeah, no it's not working.

Why would a hacker even write a letter partially blaming the community. Sounds more like Sean was very drunk or whatever at the time and had a 'fuck it all' moment.

Quote:

No Man's Sky was a mistake.

I have contacted you because the silence from Hello Games has been unwarranted and unprofessional. The community has asked me to speak up, and I have a confession to make. The game was simply unfinished upon arrival. Our hand was forced by not only Sony, but the community as well. The constant harassment and absolute gross misconduct on the community's part has made it hard to fulfill our artistic vision, while the pressure from Sony to release the game as soon as possible forced us to cut key features. I want to apologize for what we did not deliver on, as the game does not meet up to what our artistic vision was.

However, we do wish that the community was more understanding of our situation. Many people have asked for refunds despite our promise to continually improve and update No Man's Sky. We are just a small studio that has poured our blood, sweat, and tears into this project. The complete lack of respect when it comes to the work we have done absolutely saddens not only myself, but the team as well. We want to improve the game to the point we dreamed of it being and beyond.

I hope everyone affected understands,

Sean Murray

I bet this all is just another planned Marketing maneuver to get their fucker game talked about again.
As even negative press is press.

I guess it wouldnt help that much .. in the end its just another unfinished ok game on the market (aka the norm these days) which for some strange reason has more insane supermax-level "community" than the usual games (tbh the Mn9 thing was much bigger mess than this)

For most it won't, for me though... it would have helped with me not being annoyed at him for acting like nothing happened. And I haven't even bought the damn thing.

Says "apologize" instead of British version (with an "s") though.

Well, at least more people are going to watch Mr. Robot as a result of this, so No Man's Sky isn't a complete failure after all.
