Is this "Bethesda Net" crap really needed to play with mods ? I have the legit version (even if I am playing with the CODEX crack, so I am not afraid of going online), but to activate the MODs simply in the launcher like in the old veryion felt more...comfortable to me, to be honest...
Or can the mods be added and played in "offline"-mode, too?

Years since I've played Skyrim, had completely forgot how bad the vanilla UI was... Would it really have been that much work to make it even slightly suited to a pc?

Thanks.
As much as I am enjoying the enhancements regarding landscape and plants, as much I am disappointed about interiors and dungeons. Beside better shaders not much has changed as it looks.
These masterful "enhanced lighting" mods for old skyrim brought so much atmosphere to exploring dungeons, caves really felt like caves and creepy crypts were finally really threatening in their atmosphere alone.
I tried copying some of these lighting mods over from my old Skyrim folder - and they still seem to work somehow. Its not exactly like before with old Skyrim, but it definitely helps (they also reduce some of the - for my tatse - far too colorful color palette).

@lolozaur, what time of day you took that shot? Everything looks way too blurry in your shot. Even the colors.

i was messing with some enb tweaks, im more interested in why the shadows are fucked, they look like that even without the enb; near the root they look normal but near me like shit

Whats the point of the SE? I have tried many times to get this game to be fun with tons of mods but nothing works. The combat and story stays awful. After installing all the sex mods there is little to do.
