Dear diary, 'tis a drunk venting thread.
Today marked 8th consecutive day of work because obviously there is no correlation between 80 hours of working week and impairment of cognitive functions.
Fuck you, supervisor.
I'm on a training/trial period for a promotion for a work involving setting up, adjusting, and ensuring proper functions of a certain machine that apparently has an agenda of making everyone lives miserable. Quite succesfully. Yesterday everything went better than expected, but not today.

I come in today, assemble and setup the machine in record time, and the chief engineer comes in to reconfigure the hardware and software of said infernal machinery. Just half an hour so it doesn't give me too bad of a backlog, fair enough. He finishes and I start my work to find out that he fucked up all of the programs, and I have to reconfigure settings for every product the device works with. Cool, it's not like IM ON MY FUCKING 4TH DAY OF WORKING A FUCKING ENIGMA CODEBREAKER YOU BLOODYDAMNWANKER, I scream internally, silently continugin my work. Couple hours later general manager comes in and asks me how I'm doing. Realizing I wouldn't be able to tie my shoelace at this point I obviously reply jolly good Wesley! As work continued I managed to fuck up an order of couple hundred, misconfigured the machine tens of times, and apparently made everyone think I'm suicidal.
I'm paranoidal by nature, but it's highly likely that the day after tommorow I'm going to have a not so nice chat with my boss and kiss my prospect goodbye.

You seem a bit unstable, maybe it's a good thing you will get some extra time to put into staying at a mental health facility.

What a shit place to work, and what terrible bosses to not force you a time out after almost working yourself to death. What you say should not matter the slightest, they know how much you've worked, and they should act responsibly.

Who says it was JUST a joke though? I have thought that a few times about you, you always come back with it being booze. I'm just not so sure any more.
