The remake of Realms of Arkania: Star Trail will be available as Early Access version on November 10:

Damn, it seems that they only milked Early Access for 9 months. That's seriously got to be some sort of fucking record on Steam. Not joking...

It looks pretty rough going by the screenshots but that might (hopefully?) just be inconsistent visual design with less of the gameplay and tech problems from the remake of the first Realms of Arkania game.
(It was patched up but it took considerable time and I'm not sure how well they did manage to fix it in the end before moving on to this sequel.)
Going by the Steam forums there's also at least one bug caused by Unity itself but it's fixed in a major update where it goes from 5.x.x to the new 2017.x version number so the developers don't want to risk updating in case it breaks something else though it might be considered for later.
Eeh I'll gladly stick with the original games - I recall how buggy the first one was as a remake. I only really discovered how great they were some 5 years ago and I completed the first two back to back across several weeks. Very complex games but also highly enjoyable. Reminds me to play Shadows over Riva sometimes.
