Perhaps, but if you're gonna actually spend manpower to make a standalone game, at least make it something that has some potential business wise. I can't see a straight port would sell very well. The market is already too saturated. You also can't make it F2P if it is just the minigame, but you also can't sell it for a price because the market expects it be free, otherwise they expect meaty content and features.

They could made it mobile only and make some bucks off ads and card packs, but we weren't asking for that were we?

How's everyone finding the closed beta so far? I think I am probably enjoying it much more than I did when I tried HS!

So far so good mostly... except when it pairs you against someone who either bought cards on the store or is several levels above you or was just really really lucky with their card drops (dropping a vasemir on me which in turns pulls out an eskel and lambert from his deck, FFS Sad)

Also can't wait for the final game with the campaigns So Much Win

Welcome to modern card gaming. Hope it wont be so unbalanced like curvestone topdeckstone. Will give HS one last chance with the next expansion, but i really doubt it will change so have to chose between gwent and ESL as backup.

Honestly it's not even bothering me that much. I'll buy the game for the campaigns more than anything else, online is just a very very minor part of this for me Smile

Tried it, but it runs really really bad and no 16:10 support. No buy for me for now.

Will be free with ingame transactions? Thats good at least, but if they don't fix performance and add 16:10 support i still won't play it.

Patch goes live this week. Better to wait if you plan to craft any card/deck. Smile

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
