Hi everyone
i have the folowing problem when im trying to install Crime Life Gang Wars game Reloaded release:

I unzipped the files so i get rld-clgw.iso and then i mount it with DT everything is fine but when setup.exe wants to start up i get the following error message below
(in the picture theres number -6003 i got -6001 )




Setup has experienced an error.

Please do the following:
- Close any running programs
- Empty your temporary folder
- Check your Internet connection (Internet-based Setups)

Then try to run the Setup again.

Error code: -6001

i tried to close some programs, i did empty mine temp folder and my internet connection is just fine

but the error just returns every time

so plz can anyone help me with installing this game or tell me what im doing wrong Confused

Its a problem with Installshield, it happens very once in a while to me and if i remember correctly theres a folder you have to delete somewhere when this error pops up, i just cant tell wich right now !

can't help you sorry. I just installed. playd 5 min. deleted. and deleted ISO Smile

thanks for the tip i googled some and found this

KB967: Error: InstallShield error code -6001 during setup.


SUMMARY:
During installation of 602PRINT PACK 5.0, you may receive an InstallShield error that returns an error code '-6001'.

SOLUTION:
This InstallShield error indicates a corrupt verison of InstallShield is installed on your computer. To correct this issue, simply delete the following folder from your computer and attempt to run the installer again:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Professional\RunTime\0701

If this fails to correct the problem, we recommend you RENAME (not delete) the entire C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\ folder and try again. You may rename the folder to anything you like, but we recommend something similar to 'InstallShield-old'.


deleting folder didnt help much but the second method works just fine!!!
