Well that's hardly because of the update Bob, isn't it? There are tons of players that didn't have the PTS nor played it. Better wait a day or two until it gets down a bit. My connectivity issues have been minimal since the first two patches in the game and playing after everyone and their mum tried it worked best.

The stream I've been watching from the Survival mode looks entertaining enough; but the hunters were built up to be dangerous, and guys I watched on the stream had no issues with them at all, they were like any other NPCs. That was disppointing.
The game should have had heat/food/sickness mechanics from the beginning.

so is this game playable solo? has a story or something? im not really interested in the pvp thing, so want to know if its worth it to get it only for the solo pve; also how many hours of content are there for solo play

@lolozaur It's playable solo just fine, it's not harder alone and your experience won't get damaged. Dark Zone is the PVP area, you mostly play in the bigger PvE area for the majority of the game anyway.
For us Humpers, most of us got a good 25-30 hours for reaching level 30 and doing a bit of stuff after that. I don't play regularly and still got over 100 hours out of it. It depends on you, but if you like the entry to the game, you'll most likely be pleased by the rest. That being said you've chosen a better time to get into it. When we played it, most of the good stuff already was missing, so you have even more to do now and worry less about shit loot.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

@IamAWESOME Underground is pretty much a random dungeon generator, Survival is really great, not sure about it's longevity though, first run was super cool.
Base game is definitely worth it now if you want to try it.

This has been a thing since the game first released. It's all based on where you're standing. If the angle gives you shitty lighting it happens. Move two steps into better lighting then it's fixed. |
