that's pretty amazing. even the driver one, despite it being an ancient ugly game, looks authentic. Smile

Looked over rin, the demo method doesn't have DLC cars, and the other method requires a specific insider build. looks like i'm gonna have to buy another title with a ghetto crack....

orza Horizon 3 players now have the option of buying cars with real cash instead of earning it in game.

A new range of microtransactions starts at 79p – that gets you 100 tokens. This then steps up to £2.49 (325 tokens), £4.19 (575), £8.39 (1,250), £16.74 (2,700), £41.74 (8,000) and then a whopping £83.49 (20,000).

One token equates to around 500 in-game credits. As PCGamesN points out, the most expensive car in the game – the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale – costs 10m credits. That’s all 20,00 of your £80 tokens right there.

Hi folks,

We are aware of an issue with PC players being required to download the full version of FH3. While we investigate the cause and a fix, we are recommending that PC players cancel their current downloads of this FH3 update, as players who download this update will likely need to re-download the game again once the fix is in place.

More updates as they become available.

Thanks,
Brian

[UPDATE: 1:30 p.m. Pacific] - A few updates for you:

- The incorrect PC version of FH3 has now been removed and replaced. PC players who have the FH3 version ending with .37.2 should immediately uninstall that version of the game, then re-install. The correct playable version should end in .35.2.

- NOTE: PC players who completed the download of .37.2 and then started a new game save will have a corrupted saved game. Avoid creating a new saved game on .37.2, and only play on .35.2 to avoid this issue. As long as you have an existing save and have not created a new one on .37.2, your saved game will work correctly once the update is available.

As a reminder, you can check your version number on the launch screen where you sign in.

Quote:
Similar to a recurring problem on Xbox One, PC users found that the “update” was actually re-downloading the whole of Forza Horizon 3 itself – a hefty 53 GB. Whoops!

That’s not great of course, but it gets messier. As NeoGAF and Forza forum users discovered, the newly downloaded game seemed to be an unencrypted developer build of Forza Horizon 3, with references to stacks of cars that aren’t announced for the game yet.

As noted on the Forza forums, Turn 10 has addressed the issue and it’s now safe to go ahead and update – but not before screenshots of the car folder were added to http://imgur.com/a/ncwPY

Unfortunately, if you did complete the full download of the incorrectly uploaded Forza Horizon 3 dev build, you’ll need to reinstall the full game – which means downloading it again.

I haz the cars season pass, so they unlock when released. Bought it with my bing rewards points for gift cards at MS store so I don't feel bad about it. But damn, 30 bucks for season pass for cars and 30 for expansion pass. Jeeze.

Wonder how much it cost them for licenses for cars.

My specs:
Ryzen 5950x @ boosting 5ghz, Gigabyte x570 Aorus Master, 128gb G.Skill Trident Neo pc3600 ram, nVidia RTX 5080, SoundBlasterX G6, Samsung 980 Pro m.2 1TB and Hynix m.2 1TB storage SSD. Custom watercooling loop.
