Watched all eps. back to back, nice show men
Still not a fan of most of the cowboy shit BUT it makes perfect sense in the "theme park" for adults concept of the show.
Now to see if season 2 will be the with the park reopening after what happens but with a new setting (no more cowboy shit pls but I doubt we'll see the feudal japan period with all the "progressive" and "culture appropriation" shit still around ) or, hopefully, all out war from the get go.

Watched first 3 eps, first 2 were excellent (the pilot) or close to, 3rd was a bit boring, I hope the rest are more like the first couple. I am still very confused about how it all works, I don't get at what point in the day do the hosts get repaired or when is Dolores brought in for her private conversations with Bernard or many other things.

While we're doing spoilers. It turns out they were all actually dead on the island already and the black smoke was an entity.
Tada!

I don't know what you are on about (and don't want to know, been ages since I've seen the movie and forgot most of it) but it should be clear to anyone to not bring in talks of a show/movie/bladibla from other media.
When one feels to talk about a book/comic/movie of an ongoing show make a thread about those or put it in spoilers with big warnings upfront.
That being said, only times I saw the movie mentioned was when they flashed a little tribute in the show.

Thanks for the "small" hint!

Are you.. are you saying you ALSO spoiled the movie for me, not just the series???
And what does it matter if it was in the movie?
I mean I haven't watched a single episode of Game of Thrones, nor visit its thread, but I doubt people were posting "HINT: x DIES" in its thread and then defending their post as "But it's from teh bookzzz, so it's totes okay!!11".
Of course after a certain point in time you can exchange spoilers more freely (I certainly wouldn't complain if I entered the GoT thread today and people were talking in the open about how thedudewith1000deaths dies (yes, I know about it, everyone knows about it)), but never go out of your way to spoil someone that wasn't looking for it.
If people were discussing a spoiler here and I just joined the thread and read it, that would be on me, FINE.
If I'm specifically posting that I've only watched 1/3rd of the season so far and you are specifically responding to me by spoiling the series, that's on you. And I didn't even ask for any "hints", I just wrote my impressions about the series so far and my remarks. I only have 7 episodes left, why would I need any hints, in at most a week, I'll finish it and find out for myself.
No excuses Danyutz!! Don't do it again!!!

Yeah, I made a major mistake in watching a few youtube videos.
I knew I should have waited for all 10 episodes - but I was too impatient and weak to do that.

I never visit a TV-show thread if I haven't watched all of its episodes first. Just in case someone "forgets" to tag the spoilers.

Watched another 2 episodes, so I finished 5 - half of the season - seems like a very good show. I'd rate it 8/10.
Great production values (almost cinema-like, with the exception of the odd set or digital extensions). Fantastic cast. Nice acting. Good but not great plot and writing.
I can't take the "find the Maze" treasure hunt-like subplot very seriously because it sounds ridiculous. Maybe I will take it more seriously once I learn what it is all about. And I have a hard time telling who is a guest and who is a host because I don't quite understand the rules. Who can hurt who. Theoretically the hosts can't hurt the guests, but if they are playing around with nitroglycerin??? Isn't that like a big no no??? How is it allowed by the company that writes the narratives and such???
Just thinking out loud, don't spoil shit to me again (For example it goes without saying some people/guests will be revealed to be hosts and/or vice versa, I am waiting for this moment since ep1. But don't spoil it to me).

They have shown how explosives work in one small scene. I am not sure if you have seen it yet, but it's not technically a spoiler, since it just clarifies some things. Just applying common sense though - do you really think they would just allow something as unpredictable and volatile as nitroglycerin in the park?
It's a giant movie set - everything is a prop.
