Apple's $300 book contains 450 photos of Apple products

Dell XPS13/15?

The rumored XPS15 refresh with a GTX1050/TI that might come out in Q1 2017 is extremely appealing.

While i also agree apple pro is a joke, i wish there was a comparable product because I just havnt seen anything from msi, asus, hp etc that is remotely exciting.. All plastic shit with unusable trackpads and touch, twisting top gimmick lame shit.

Give me
a moderately powered laptop
that looks good.
Has headphones, usb and hdmi out.
Supports linux.
Has a useful trackpad
No stupid shit i.e twisting, flipping, swiping, projecting, lightbars, curved edges, double screens, fuck you no.

It's not comparable to the macbook pro though, because this one isn't pro (for example you can replace the sdd in case it fails, and you can also keep your data if the motherboard fails, unlike the pro Cool Face)...

I have an xps 13 (i5 skylake) ... only 2 USB 3.0 ports and no ethernet (but yeah it's small and light) and the intel video drivers are a bit flaky (bluetooth sometimes too) ... but generally a decent laptop for the price (less than 2/3 comparable macbook)

asus z170-A || core i5-6600K || geforce gtx 970 4gb || 16gb ddr4 ram || win10 || 1080p led samsung 27"

I also have an XPS 13 (i7 with Iris) - The lack of ports is due to the size but I got a dell adapter with VGA, full sized HDMI, Ethernet and another USB for free. I have/had several MBPs as well and the only things that are slightly worse in an XPS13 are the touchpad and battery life.

The fact that it has a defect doesn't scare me as much as the fact that everything is soldered to the mb, including the ssd, so you don't get to keep your data in case anything fails. Very pro.

I thought I saw a video showing a guy pulling out the SSD (after removing the black sticker on top and some scary wedging)

There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.

People complain about the 2016 MBP battery life. -> Apple removes the 'time remaining' battery life indicator in its latest MacOS version. Laughing

Anyone else had issues with their iphones shutting down during cold 0-5 degreese, displaying battery drained, even if they are fully charged? My 6s does that.

It's called "courage"! You Apostate!

Obstructing innovation alas seems like the new trend lately. The celebration of the past just for the sake of wearing goggles, whereas Apple here was genuinely trying to improve our lives and turn them around for the greater good. They envisioned a world without jackQ and the world egoistically answered no Sad
